Pretty sure it will separate from the rest of the ...
advertised as full grain leather. When received it is clearly stamped 100% Genuine leather. Outer layer of Genuine leather you see is cheap and glued on. Pretty sure it will separate from the rest of the belt. False Advertising. For those of you how don't know Genuine leather doesn't just mean that the product is made of real leather (which it is), but it also means it is the lowest quality of all products made out of real leather. unsatisfied with what i expected to what was received.

Shoddy Quality and I'm skeptical on the type of Leather
I just received this belt today. I haven't worn it yet, so I can't speak on the durability. But I will summarize my initial impressions and I'll try to add some pictures later to show what I mean. The initial thing I noticed was how the belt was stretched out in areas. It looks like the belt was cut to size, then put on a machine to stretch it out to make it a bigger size. There are a series of equally spaced round impression marks on the belt, that make it look like the belt was on a hoop, and a machine stretched it outwards to expand the 'hoop'. So, it stretched out the surface to create odd smooth sections, but it also makes the belt thin out in those spots. Again, hopefully I can edit this from my phone with the pictures.Material. It is definitely leather. However, the stretching concern and the fact that the "top grain" and the rest of the split grain don't line up, is making me question the "Full Grain Leather" advertising (along with the cost). I don't think it's actually full grain leather. I think it's what they call "genuine leather" which is the "split" that's removed from full grain leather that's too thick, and instead of thrown away, the put resins to create a fake "top grain" (surface skin), on top of the fibrous split. It's usually not as strong. They branded the inside as "100% full grain leather", but again, I'm skeptical. They may have burnished it, which is throwing me off a bit. Now, I have access to a FTIR, so I'm curious if I'll see the difference between the materials. I have some real full grain leather items I can compare to. If anything, I think the cute little "italian 100% cow leather" label they hook on the belt is probably actually full grain leather.I'll still give this belt a shot. It smells like leather. The inside is soft, like suede, like the split should be. A little stretched out may work with jeans. But overall the quality was disappointing.

Gonna Bleed & Stain Clothes
Purchased this belt about 6 months ago to replace a sturdy one that was no longer presentable in public after 8 years use. I had high hopes this would be just as solid, and thought it’d live up to those hopes when I received it. The first few wears were pleasant, but after 3-4 times using the belt on the same pants I began noticing orange-red staining of the materials all around the waistband. While the belt may be leather, they sure haven’t treated it sufficiently to prevent bleeding & leaching of color onto clothes. I noticed this issue too late for a return otherwise would have sent it back for refund. It ruined a pair of slacks, but to at least get a bit of value I now wear the belt on work jeans when doing housework.Would not recommend this product at all.

Amazing belt idea!!
I love this belt! I always get the wrong size and because I love to yo-yo diet, my belts never seem to fit just right. This belt solves that by allowing you to customize the fit yourself. I LOVE this! so 2 things: 1) make sure you buy a size larger than you think you'll need so that you have room to cut it down and 2) recognize that is not quite as thick as some other belts and it has already started "warping" a bit. I assume those of us who are a little heavier need to tighten the belt more than the models you see in the ads that only have the belt on for show. The number one thing for me that I look for in a good belt like this is durability/thickness. Minus 1/2 star for not being as thick as I would like it to be. I would give 4.5 stars if I could and yes, I will be buying this belt again when mine is no longer useful. I just wish it was a tad bit thicker. (to be fair - it is still thicker than many of my other belts...)1/7/2021: I'm changing to 5 stars. I love this belt and the thickness is fine! Any thicker and it would be hard to get through the pant loops!

Very Good Belt
It was nice to finally get a belt that was all leather. Every belt I had gotten for quite a while was laminated which would just look bad after a few weeks. Before I purchased the belt I saw that it could be easily shortened and the belt even included the leather punch. Before I wore the belt I cut off 5 " to achieve the just right size. Very easy to do.My only negative is that the belt loops are too small. It is very difficult to get the belt through the loops. I will contact the seller to see if there is a fix. If the belt loops were larger I would have given the belt 5 stars
