they installed quickly into my black soffit and you hardly notice them - which is perfect.
cut hole, pulled flexible vent through hole and attached cover with clamp. fastened with two black screws though drilled holes. easy, looks great, and will never corrode.

FYI screen is not bug screen
The vent is great. Does it’s job. Nice product.We are venting a greenhouse and when the exhaust fan is off, we don’t want insects climbing in. I added a picture of the difference in the screen thickness with the vent and the window screen I had to sacrifice and add inside the vent.
