NOW FoodsOrganic Virgin Coconut Oil, 20 oz

I bought this product on a whim-- found a sugar scrub recipe and decided to try it out. I wasn't expecting as much product as I received, and I was a little disappointed at wasting money on so much. Then I made my scrub-- this oil smells awesome, and works beyond excellently as a moisturizer. I tell my husband that using my scrub and letting this oil soak into my hands (or feet, arms or legs for that matter) is like going to "my happy place".I've been reading up on what else coconut oil is good for, and I'm excited to use it for cooking popcorn among other things. NOW Foods is a great brand, been getting supplements from them for years from a local food store. They're very forthcoming with what is in their products, and the price is great for the quantity and quality of the good.

I bought another product at a local Sprout Food store, but immediately found that this product is superior in its ability to make my skin feel so soothed and relieved from any chaffing or need to moisturize. I love this oil. It has a soft fragrance that is also appealing.

This product is the quintessential element for all hair, skin and body types. Because it is organic you can gargle with it, use it in cooking, use it as an emollient like lotion on the face & all over your body as well as using in your hair. As a daily conditioner, I believe it actually helps hair to grow & your hair becomes more manageable. I started with the smaller size that I purchased for a ridiculous price at an outside store & it wasn't even organic. Once I tried this, I am hooked for life.

I used this to make soap so I didn't taste it. But when i unscrewed the lid i wanted to scoop a hand into it and nom nom. It smells so coconutty, i had to read the side to make sure they didnt flavor it with coconut or something. they didn't, its just awesome.

I didn't receive the jar for over 2 weeks. I sent them an email about it and never got a reply. The product is great however. I have used it in cooking *Yummy brownies!) and my skin. It is solid but starts to melt into an oil in your hand. The smell isnt that strong but it does smell like fresh coconut.

I don't eat this. I use it on my skin and in my hair. It is great for locs as it is a light-weight conditioner and has a subtle coconut scent that quickly dissipates. It won't weight your hair down, make it hard; or, get kind of rancid like castor oil can. It was fresh and well packed. I recommend it as a great natural softening product for hair and skin, especially right after a bath/shampoo.

This is totally discolored, I have never had this before . I am afraid to use it. So I didn’t realize I couldn’t return it. Now I feel ripped off . If this was an in person purchase I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Coconut oil is the best thing you can use for your hair and skin. This container is alot smaller then I thought it would be but is lasting long. I wouldnt use it for cooking or oil pulling cuz it has a rubbery taist in it but for a hair mask it works perfectly leaving your hair soft and silky.
