Excellent Side Game
TTT2 is one of two games in Tekken not canonical to the series' storyline surrounding the Mishima clan feud. Like TTT1, TTT2 allows the player to choose up to two characters to battle at the arenas with a quick switch between the two at any time. The best part of the two characters is a strike can be accompanied by an additional hit by your second character during the switch, which is very entertaining. The overall graphics is very illuminating, the lighting is a bit strong to a point. Some character alterations include the young Heihachi Mishima, Jinpachi Mishima not in his ghost or flame mode from Tekken 5 and 6. The characters also have different voice as each speaks in their native language rather than in English or Japanese in the main series. Highly recommended to any fighting gamers.

Tekken still one of the best!
Awesome game, full featured with every character in the tekken series - almost daunting character select screen. Graphics look sharper / higher res than Tekken 6 (my biggest complaint about that game) and load times are very reasonable. Not much else to say other than still my favorite in the tekken series and now available at a great price point for an older system.

Deep, rich, and satisfying experience for a fighting game.
Tekken vets will love it undoubtedly. People new to Tekken, but are familiar with fighting games will find it a new, albeit challenging experience due to the learning curve in TTT2. If you're used to playing games like SSF4:AE and UMVC3, you will have a tough time grasping what TTT2 has to offer. Nevertheless, it's still a good experience. Great training mode and plenty of features make it, in my honest opinion, the best fighting game of the year.

Fantastic Game
This game is the truth! Every time I listen to the opening theme I think back when I was in eighth grade playing it for the first time, I’m only 23 so that wasn’t ages ago. Tekken Tag T2 has really great graphics and unique characters for how old it is. I really do recommend this game for any one who just likes to beat up on people and spar LOL.

The same boring, tired, dysfunctional product it's last 7 iterations were.
TTT2 is nothing it should be. Nothing. The nostalgia of playing in tournaments back in the day for the original tekken tag is not enough to carry this game, it's a very similar feeling to going back and playing an old nintendo game you used to love... Fun at first, then frustrating, then you just move on to something more enjoyable and fresh. TTT2 has all the same combo's and exploitable bull-ish all the previous ones have had, and the graphics are about the same as they were in T6. The controls are unresponsive, the bosses are cheap as usual (though Jun isn't quite as bad as that demon bird wannabe aztec god at the end of six); and as usual, the customization items are ridiculously expensive, causing you to "grind" the game to gain access to them. Which would be less of an irritation if any of the pieces were rewarding. The clothing looks ridiculous, the models are sub par, and the new "com-bot" portion is not only unoriginal, it's just not fun.I would say that unless you're just a hardcore Tekken fanatic wait for the price to drop. If you're not really experienced with the series, and are just thinking about picking this up for "the lulz" you could do worse, but I'd suggest you keep looking. As a long time fan of the series, I'm every bit as disappointed in this game as I was SC5.

Dissapointment
Im dissapointed. I waited so long for tekken tag tournament 2 to come out. I paid 50 for it and man what a waste of money it was. Do not buy this unless your a huge tekken fan. Beginners beware. Namco made the game so difficult that new players or experienced players dont even stand a chance at winning. Especially the final stage of arcade mode UNKNOWN. Allthe computers you fight are so hard even with the difficulty setting on easy. Dont even bother changeing that setting youll still lose unless you get lucky in the fight because the enemys just juggle you in the air and you cant move at all. Waste of money dont buy it even the items you can unlock and put on the characters arent rewarding or even look cool.. stick with mortal combat or anything else because this game just wasnt what is was cracked up to be.. However on the graphics i was happy with thosed and another good point to the game was the huge character selection. I personally wouldnt buy the game unless your amazing at tekken games because this game was just way to difficult wait for a price drop thanks for reading.
