Boxes came a little busted, but filters seem to work
I bought three of these for the Mitsubishi mini split units in my new house, which needed a severe deep clean and new filters all around. I'd read in the users manual that these were optional, and the internet was mixed on whether they actually helped or not (honestly, I was a little skeptical as well, considering the size of them). I figured that since they were cheaper here than other places on the internet, I'd get a couple and if I didn't notice a difference in air quality when they were due to be changed then I just wouldn't get any more.One of the boxes that a filter came in was a bit mangled, but the filter inside was just fine so I got a little lucky. It took a bit to figure out how they actually went in (they don't come with any instructions, and the users manual for the mini split wasn't much help with any diagrams), but there's some ledges on the inside-top of the unit just above the coils where they click into place, for anyone who is/was in my situation.
