My favorite thing about my place now
The media could not be loaded. I love this! The speed is great for me, I haven’t had any issues with it at all in the 4 months of having it. It’s actually on quite a lot when I’m home and I never fear for it dying on me or anything. You don’t hear the motor at all. Overall it’s an excellent piece of equipment.You may require an extension cord and some hooks to anchor the wire out of the way of course. I have mine hooked up to a WiFi plug so that I can turn it on and off with an app on my phone.

Good Speed
The media could not be loaded. Great overall. On startup it makes about as much noise as a person talking with their "inside voice," but pretty quiet after it gets going. If you can hear the motor, your music should be louder. Great speed - not too fast. Mounts easily, seems sturdy so far.

Too fast for a mirror ball
Get a slower motor or plug in thru a dimmer… this one makes you dizzy… good motor, ran nonstop for a long weekend…

Perfect speed for Pedal Mobile
The media could not be loaded. The weight capacity and speed are ideal for a small Pedal Mobile. I don’t know the total weight of this one but I’m estimating <5lb.Easy to mount and has a nice heavy duty ring to hang your mobile. No need to spend >$50 for a pedal mobile motor!

Using it as I type this. Was surprised at the quality because the price was so reasonable.

It Works But getting Noisy
We got this disco ball motor because it was one of the few that said it supported our 16" disco ball. Installation is straight forward as there are no on/off switches. There is only a very short 3 prong plug. I think it should be longer as disco balls are generally high up. You really need to install an outlet where it's mounted, or run an unsightly 3 prong extention cord. I've done the latter till I can get around to the former. A remote control would have also been a valid option if it had it. We've probably used it for a total of 4 hrs, and the motor now makes a low grinding sound that you can hear essily when there's no music playing. I can only imagine it's going to get worse. But time will tell..
