Does not work! Two bad parts, had to send them back.
Does this sound right? Both parts do not work. Both of them will install easily yet they will not turn off the AC blower. Causing the AC not to turn off even if the vehicle is off.

Lesson learned. Test before finishing!
This was not an easy install. Upon completion I fired up the car and the a/c worked…kinda. On full blast all the time. Wouldn’t turn down wouldn’t turn off. Reinstalled the old one, at least it works sometimes. TAKEAWAY: once you plug this sucker in, start the car and test it before putting everything back together!!!

Deffective part
Installed on a W211 and it only works on full blast, nothing else.
