Fantastic book for parents who are feel they are struggling with their preteens, lots of resources
I was a junior high youth group leader years ago, and felt that I had it all down, but I was still not prepared for my own teens. I felt that this book was really helpful for me because I felt like I was doing something wrong as a parent, but I was reminded that so many of the things teens do are normal & they all go through them. The author gave me tools to be able to respond in a rational way, not react to my teen's very normal emotions & behaviors. I felt more in control of my own emotions & actions, and was able to take my teens' actions & behaviors less personally. The book is also FULL of resources for all kinds of things, I loved that.

Great Read
This is an easy to read book for parents of preteens and teens. Excellent, simple advice from an expert, who has also been through the parenting experience.

An excellent handbook to help you understand your teenager(s).

It's a book for someone that thinks there is a magic spell for parenting.
I recommend spending the money on fuel taking your kids to the park or camping than buying a book that outlines someone else's experiences. Quick tip: unless you where created in a lab and grown to adult hood. Just remember what it was like when you where that age. For those grown in a lab I would like run some experiments on you if you don't mind.
