Unbiased review after 6 months of use.
I've had this Spectre for 6 months now, I waited this long as it's the only way I could give a thorough review of the device. I won't comment on the packaging as I had it delivered by a friend.Pros:--------The spectre has been an outstanding device in terms of perfomance, multitasking is fast ( I am a heavy user and at times have a gamut of adobe editing software open simultaneously) but it still takes it in its stride. It's not exactly a monster, but it's no slob either.Typing on the keyboard feels intuitive and natural, the widely spaced chiclet style keys are quite comfortable and reduce typing errors. Backlight is ok but not appealing for long use.Screen is bright enough for standard use, I think I have the FHD version. Webcam is good enough, nothing amazing as usual. Windows Hello is a nice addition, needs tweaking to work in varying light contrasts ( when I have a bright light source behind me such as a window, it just won't recognize me.).Sound is ample for a laptop of this size, with both bottom firing and top speakers (they are tuned by B&O, but I haven't found a specific benefit to that).Build quality is solid and the laptop feels very well put together, it's also quite light and the looker. The brushed aluminium also hides smudges and dirt quite well.Charging is quick and will juice to 50% in about 30 mins. Full charge will last for about 6hrs on standard use (Firefox and secondary browser, RDP connection, full brightness, mail app), for just watching video (Potplayer) the charge can last 8hrs to 10hrs, about the length of a long flight. The charger is heavy, maybe due to the quality of components.Cons:---------Not much to complain about. The laptop however gets hot! (you could use it as a warmer) quite easily even with minimal use, the fans are also quite audible in a quiet room. May not be exactly quite comfortable as a - laptop.

Beware.
The laptop worked very well initially. currently however, the camera does not work, and of course the face recognition does not work. These are very big issues. I will be contacting seller to obtain a refund. I will give feedback on their response. When I tried to use the feedback hub, I realised other people had the same problem. This is now a complete waste of money.

other things were great including customer service and the laptop
Power supply making buzzing noise and HP told me that it is an issue of motherboard so that I would have to turn it in for repair. I wanted to replace it but there was no option for replacement, so I ended up refunding it. However, other things were great including customer service and the laptop.

Great Laptopp - Over Priced
Great Laptop but the price is wrong. You can buy this same spec laptop at a brick and mortar store (Best Buy) for $1,199 and it comes with the HP Pen! I am returning mine and gonna pocket that $200.00

Great laptop
Great laptop - a little pricey, but it is really solid and well built, and the new i7 processor is fast.

MOST DEFECTIVE LAPTOP BUT HEY! IT LOOKS NICE RIGHT?
I originally bought the Yoga to begin with but I didnt like how it was barey a laptop with the price I was buying it for. So i decided to look for a replacement that could do more for the money I spent. I did a some research on either getting the Microsoft surface Pro or the HP Spectre 360 with 512 i7. During my visit to bestbuy there was an HP representative that told me that this laptop was the most durable laptop that he watched the company actually do some drop test and it still worked. Being very stylish and durable I decided to go with this laptop.THE CONSMy laptop is actually the 4th one I exchanged it with. I was adamant on having this but all the ones I bought had a button that wasn't working. Brand new out of the boxes i had to test out the buttons before I left the store. But finally i bought the one i have now and no problems at all. After A YEAR of using it, guess what, the DOWN BUTTON gets stuck, the LEFT MOUSE PAD gets stuck at times, and the worst part now is that the RIGHT SPEAKERS VIBRATE. as if it blew up. I have to either pause the music or reset the laptop. It seems to stop the buzzing/vibrating noiese. I barely used this computer and comparing the Toshiba laptop i had before never had a problem. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF ... I recommend you get the microsoft surface or the Microsoft surface book cause my wife did have both and still performs and doesnt have defects. I barely used the 360 mode anyway and if I do it becomes the most HEAVIEST FREAKING TABLET in the world. Atleast the Surface book detaches and its very lightweight. The battery life is also bad just like my old Toshiba Desktop replacement laptop. Atleast that toshiba had an excuse to drain battery being it being huge. This one has atleast 3 or 4 hours of battery life.

The equipment works very well in performance, but at ...
The equipment works very well in performance, but at 2 months the fan will be damaged. I think it's unacceptable in a team of this range. HP does not sell spare parts and the attention is heavy.
