Excellent tool for spot spreading of grass seed, weed killer, fertilizer, etc.

The shaker was very useful and easy to handle and operate. I definitely recommend.Shaker is sturdy and compact and does not take much of a room to store.Easy to clean and reuse. Definitely a good value for the money.

Simple easy thing to spread seeds fertilizer ant killer etc. Bit pricey for what it is though. The quality is good it's a couple notches above cheapo but as is this should be $5.

Such a great, handy tool!! Strong and durable, with plenty of dispensing options according to the particle size. No more struggling to pour salt, etc, out of large heavy bags. The scoop is fairly long, so a small bag of salt, seed, etc is more difficult to fit the scoop into to fill it, so you might have to pour from a small bag to fill the scoop. Regardless, it's a great spreading tool and has a very comfortable handle. So easy to evenly spread whatever you need to spread!!

This shaker is perfect for the cedercide granules to sprinkle on the ground outdoors. The shaker is big, it is sturdy, it opens and closes easily and, so far, no materials have gotten stuck in the holes! I like!

I want to love this product, but there are a few things that I would change about it: First, unlike what I thought when buying it, you cannot just use it as a scoop to get salt out of the bag - no - you have to unscrew the enitre top part, which is a little messy once it's covered in salt, and then get the new salt from the bag, then screw the thing back together. Okay, that's not horrible. Then, you can dial the spreading hole size you want, but when you go to sprinkle it, salt does not spread as easily as you might think, and it clumps in the container between uses. And, if you want to sprinkle it far and wide, it's a bit heavy when filled. Other than that, it is certainly better than spreding salt by hand, or with a scoop.

I like this cheap handheld option for spreading grass seed. I only needed it for patches, so I didn’t want to get a large spreader that’s more expensive and takes up space in my garage just to sit there 99% of the time. This is large enough to not have to make a ton of trips back to the bag yet small enough to sit on a shelf in the garage. The adjustments will also make it easy to spread rock salt during the winter. It’s thick and study plastic so I’m not worried about it breaking on me. Good purchase
