Not sure why people are taking off stars aside from user error from not knowing how to take the case on and off. Delivery was super fast. The case is a well designed protective hard shell. It was easy to put on and fits like a glove once on. Pricing was reasonable for the quality of the product; you can’t find anything remotely similar anywhere on amazon. It was exactly what I was looking for overall. If you bought a gen 6 2021 thinkpad and need a durable, good quality case, look no further, you’ve found it.

Nice protection for my Thinkpad
This makes my laptop feel nice and protected. It was easy to install and gives a sturdy feel to my Thinkpad. I feelLike it can be “banged” around a bit in the car with no damage. Glad I purchased it. Would definitely recommend.

Update- did not protect at all
Update- I tripped on my charging cable and the computer tumbled to the floor. This case did NOT offer any sort of protection. Maybe it only protects when the computer is closed(?) Now I have to buy a new computer. I was never impressed with this case but now I'm downright angry at it.I do NOT recommend this.Cons:1-No instructions for installation.2-Tough fit as it sort of folds in on itself some around the edges.3-Trying to take it off is a nightmare and it will pull your monitor apart.4-It looks like I'm stuck with this for the life of my BRAND NEW computer since it is now holding my monitor together.5-Already scratched from simply carrying in a work bag for half of a work day.Pros1-Seems to provide protection.I cannot not recommend this enough. If you love your computer, you won't torture it with this device. Get a simple computer bag. Trust me.

Does Not Fit Lenovo Yoga 11e
Ordered this Gumdrop case to protect my older Lenovo Yoga 11e, 11.6" laptop, for my daughter who is accident-prone. Purchased it specifically because it said it fit that model. First, it arrived in a clear plastic bag with no box, literature, or installation instructions. When we looked online and on YouTube, the case for this model looked different - there were "clips" to unlock to install it on the laptop. However, what I was sent had no clips. Also, when measured it was just not wide enough to ever fit. Perhaps I was sent the wrong model... but, I'm not even going to try reorder another. It just seems a bit shady that there was no product box showing the model number or instructions. So, this has now been returned and I"ll try my luck with another brand case. It's too bad, as it looks like it would be really protective. Hopefully others will have better luck, but I didn't.
