Hard to find thermometers without batteries no
Loved the fact that these required no batteries. Available on demand without keeping a basket full of replacement batteries available at all times. Feels a bit different from the old thermometers but works and is accurate

You can always trust
This thermometer is the only one I trust. The other digital thermometers always oscillate the temperature

2 of 5 didn't work
Aside from the fact that 2 of 5 didn't work, the shape of the thermometer makes it very uncomfortable to hold in your mouth. The instructions say to place under the armpit but must wait 4 - 5 minutes. Of the ones that did work, the temperature seemed correct and consistent.

Centigrade and Fahrenheit scale, classic design, no battery needed
Standard classic thermometer, safe, no mercury. Two standards C and F. Out of tested 5 thermometers 4 have reading in +/-0.1C, one has reading in 0.2C. Little bit difficult to read the position of liquid alloy replacing mercury - my old one had a wider angle of clear reading. But in general it is good thermometer.

Very hard to reset the temperature.
These thermometers work OK, but to lower the temperature after usage is not easy.
