This was a direct replacement for a failing pump, it was easy to swap and this was a direct fit.My only advice is to simply use some automotive grease on the O ring before installation, it will make it slide in with ease.

Bought for my 08 Mazda 2.0 rebuild. Getting the old one off was a nightmare. But make sure to clean the everything before installing the new pump and everything will work as intended.
