An Outstanding Resource for Trainers, Parents, and Anyone Recovering from Injury
As a personal trainer with 17 years of experience, I have a solid understanding of movement mechanics and exercise technique. However, I’m not a physical therapist, and when my daughter dislocated her knee, I knew that prescribing the right exercises for her recovery was outside my professional scope. This book has been an invaluable resource in helping me bridge that gap. It offers a clear, structured approach to rehabilitation through a well-designed three-phase system that emphasizes gradual, safe progression. The content is written in a straightforward and accessible way, and the exercise demonstrations, complete with photos, make it easy to apply what you’ve learned.Whether you’re a fitness professional looking to deepen your knowledge or someone simply trying to understand and address your own pain, this book is a must-read. It empowers you with practical tools to safely restore strength, mobility, and function.

Best Book Ever
I preordered this book 12-25-22, and just received it yesterday. It didn’t disappoint, and is was well worth the wait. This book is thoroughly complete, from explaining aspects of pain and injury to rehabilitation. Rehab is further divided into sections of the body, with protocols and descriptions of each phase of recovery. It is written so the average non-medical person can easily understand the directions. You learn what each phase is, why it’s important, and photographs to guide you thru each move. The photographs accompanying each movement are extremely helpful. Each protocol is complete, from position to number of reps to how often to perform. This format is consistent throughout the book, making it easy to follow. For all you Anatomy geeks out there (like me), the illustrations of the bones, nerves, muscles, and pain areas are all brilliantly illustrated and easy to understand. On another note, the book is arranged simply and perfectly. The photography and illustrations are superb, and complete. The paper is high quality, and although bound (not spiral), it lies perfectly open if it’s lying on the floor next to you. Everything is in color, font is easy to read, sentences are nicely spaced. At the end of the book, there is both an index, as well as an exhaustive list of references. This book was not rushed, but painstakingly and superbly put together to help us all understand the aches, pains, pops and cracks we endure to stay fit. I am thrilled to have this in my library, and kudos to both Dr. Tom Walters and Glen Cordoza for producing a fabulous book. I am so grateful.

Absolutely worth every Penny!!!!
I had an accident years ago where I broke my back , and my neck.L4, L5 lower back brokenC7 , C6 , brokenHad surgeries and all was ok, until this last year I re injured my neck with 3 new herniated vertebraeAnd a broken fusion of C7 C6Why is this important?Well if any one has the experience to break down the whole system of going to a doctors office then going to a PT ( physical therapist) and feeling like you're not getting enough out of the time with your PT well it’s because you don’t have anything to present to them. What do I mean? For years I would show up and say It hurts here( point at neck) and we would do an exercise and 40 mins later I’m out of PT and going about my day. Insurance companies don’t like to pay for anything more than 45min per visit with a PT at the hospital my experience at least. I really didn’t know what was happening with my body, and I had no reference to explain to my PT for us to pin point the issue , this BOOK !! Changed everything!!!!With in the first week I was able to present this to my PT and in his words “wow! this is a great book” as to which I agreed.Together we pin pointed every aspect of the healing process through the correct movement. I was able to show him what I felt needed to be focused on, and he wrote in the book exactly what steps to follow not only as for my current focus like Nerve Mobilization, but I was able to build the correct work out plan to not only heal myself but also more importantly to not injure myself more because of improper movement. With this book you learn to be your own PT .You learn your body. You learn to move correctly. You get so much information from this book, you will learn what pain is , what the pain loop is .You will learn injury grades. You will learn mechanism of injury. You get detail instructions from Dr.Tom with photos and notes so you can perform your exercises without concern of hurting yourself. This book covers whole body movements.I highly recommend this to anyone who suffers from any and all pain it’s a game changer, knowing how to operate our body is the number one thing we overlook, and Dr. Tom rehab book doesn’t allow you to walk around in pain or ignorance of how to not make the correct movements.Stay healthy , stay fit , stay in rehab science it’s worth your time and energy!Happy healing !!!And again THANK YOU DR. Tom WaltersYou are very much appreciated for the work you put into this great project.Very happy customer here !!!!
