Works perfect in the middle removeable grate of a Weber kettle grill
This is a great wok; good surface finish and no blemishes to speak of. This also works in the center removable grate on a Weber 22 inch kettle, which makes it easier to hit those high wok temps with the charcoal grill.

I love this Wok!
I absolutely love this wok. I've had several and this one cooks great! Although it can be heavy for a few. It's cast iron. Cleaning is the secret. Read the cleaning instructions! I render fat in mine to season. It has no stinky petroleum smell when you first use (clean and season) like others. I would recommend to all my cooks out there.

Perfect Wok!
I personally don't like long wood handles because the woks are so heavy it's just in the way. This is a great wok to cook in and handles well. I've been using it a lot for everything in the past 6 or 7 months. It seasons really well and cooks evenly with good cast iron. I use it with a riser that keeps it either close to my gas flame or raises it a little. I typically use it raised a little . I got a wok domed lid with it too so it steams as well as stir fry or cooks a curry. My favorite and it takes the place of many other pans.

Excellent Wok!!!
Just got this wok and I am impressed! I had a Lodge wok before, which I gave to a friend and got this one to replace it. I have to admit I like this one even better!!! the bottom is wide and rounded out, but it's still completely sturdy (vs the Lodge one that had a weird cylinder on the bottom causing it to heat up unevenly at times) So far I have done a couple stir fries and the seasoning although still new, is pretty good at avoiding food-sticking. I’m planning on using it soon to cook other things like soup, warm salads and steamed veggies!remember that this is cast iron! Although excellent for cooking, it is heavy and can't go in a dishwasher. There are easy instructions with this wok for you cast iron newbies!I love this wok and highly recommend!!!

Rough surface
The interior is not as smooth as I would like - it will wear my tools. Heavy construction spreads the heat well. It's the right size for preparing dinner entrees.

Beautiful cooking tool
I bought to use in the Philippines as we cook over open fire most of the time. I did use it a couple times here in the states before I shipped it. After seasoning it in the oven a few times it worked better than any other wok I've ever used. Love it, take care of it and it will last generations.

not suitable for electric stoves
This wok is not suitable for electric stoves. The bottom of the wok is very small and the surface area that comes in contact with the stove is very small, therefore the transfer of heat to the sides of the wok is very low. Even using turbo heating did not cause the sides to heat up enough even after a few minutes. Overall, the wok looks good and seems to be suitable for gas stoves only.
