NoctuaNM-i17xx-MP83 chromax.Black, Mounting Kit for Noctua CPU Coolers on Intel LGA1851 and LGA1700 Platform (Black)

I needed this bracket for my new i7-13700k 13th Gen Raptor Lake build I was doing. I came from an 1151 socket i7-4790k. So I needed the new mounting hardware for the 1700 socket on my new motherboard.I didn't need the directions that were included but if you do it shows you step by step how to do it. Very detailed and very easy to follow if you need the instructions. Anyone can do it. Nothing hard at all.Like with all mounting kits for CPU's remember to NEVER tighten them to tight. You can really screw stuff up like bend the CPU socket and/or motherboard. Always tighten them hand tight and then give it a good turn with a screw driver. Don't go crazy with it though.Noctua actually offers this mounting kit for free on their website but it takes up to 20-30 days to receive the kit and I needed it in two days when my new hardware arrived so I just bought it. I am still gonna get the free one just to have it. So if you need it fast then you will have to buy it.

i used my old CPU cooler on my new rig because of this kit. saved me alot of money. nice work guys

Helped me keep a very old but very effective heat sink in service. 13 year old heatsink on a brand new motherboard. Lol

I was able to re-use my old NH-D15S on my new LGA 1700 system perfectly. This reduces waste and makes me very loyal to their products.

If you planning to use it on LGA1700 with ITX board, which I think most people shopping for this cooler will be... remember take a closer look to your motherboard first, if your board has many capacitors near the CPU socket, this might not fit; I got a ASRock Z690M ITX, it doesn't have enough clearance
