Fixed my smoke issue
I had just installed a pellet stove and the vent kit I purchased had several flaws. Smoke would leak through the clean out cap at the bottom of the T that connects to the pellet stove and a couple of other places. I first tried aluminum tape, but the smoke still leaked. I purchased this siilicone, applied it around where the smoke leak was and it was able to fix the problem. I wisht I had been black instead of red, but it worked great!

High performance seal for furnace inducer fan!
Purchased this to fix and create a new seal for a furnace inducer fan assembly. The fan assembly is the heart of the furnace in order to get it up and running. I replaced the inducer fan as the bearings were done. I used this product to create a tight seal to prevent the carbon monoxide and other fumes from entering the basement. In addition to a gasket, I used this to seal the base of the inducer fan assembly to prevent it from leaking anything. The product is the best and withstands 500 degrees temperature. A must for anyone working with a furnace or hot surface that requires additional seal protection.

Perfect for tough jobs
Nothing else I tried from Lowe's or home Depot worked. This did the job! I need to glue the ceramic cooktop to the metal stove frame. I'd say my only issue is that the color is red. Other than that minor thing, I am very happy with the outcome

I wanted a red caulk, and this one fit the bill.
I was trying to patch some holes in a pair of winter waterproof boots, which were an orange color. I tried to find an orange caulk but I didn't find any so I was happy to find this RED caulk. Went on Ok, but seemed to start setting up before I had smoothed these patches as much as I wanted. It was pretty cold in my shop at the time, maybe 38 degrees which may have had some effect on my not being able to smooth out my patches. They are holding well though. To be honest, I only purchased these for the color. Other non-colored caulks apply more smoothly than this one.

Good stuff
So far so good. I used this to re-attach a piece of stone veneer very near the face of my fireplace, was concerned that due to the heat other glues wouldn't stand up. During this time of year, we have the fireplace going pretty much 100% of the time. I have a thermometer on the blower grate and it often reaches close to 400 degrees; the brick I needed to attach was only a few inches away from the grate.I let the fire die down, squirted a couple blobs on the back of the brick and stuck it on. It's tacky enough the brick held itself in place while drying. Been over a week now and it's still attached firmly and we've had the fireplace going 24/7. It works!**Update 4 months later**Still holding strong! We have had the fireplace cooking non-stop since I put this stuff on. No signs of loosening up at all.**Update 3 years later**Bricks adhered with this stuff are still stuck on, it's awesome. I just came here to order another tube for a different brick that fell and thought I would update this review.
