The bag is an absolute masterpiece
When i was packing a bag for camping and i used this thing for a lot of my things, i realized how great it is. There has been alot stored in the bag, and with some good organizing it looks super slim on the side profile, which is nice

As a self-proclaimed backpack snob, the Urban21 is my new everyday pack.
I feel like I could write an extremely long review for this pack, I'm going to try my best to make this concise. I've always had a bit of a problem with collecting way too many backpacks and bags, I have favourites from Arc'teryx, Osprey, Thule, Tumi, and Briggs & Riley. If there is one thing I've learned over the years is that a good pack is never cheap, so I was not shocked at all by the asking price of the Urban21 though I was surprised that KeySmart made bags at all of this caliber. The closest bag that I have that serves the same every day purposes that the Urban21 serves is probably my Arc'teryx Blade 21, which I've been using for over 7 years now. The Urban21 is, I dare say, a more functional bag in just about every way and even looks better and more professional to boot. There are way more pockets and organization features, better back panel ventilation, neater hardware etc. The only unknown for me so far is how the Urban21 will look 7 years later but given careful inspection of how it's constructed and the materials being used I feel pretty confident that it will hold up.Materials and construction of the Urban21 are pretty impeccable for a bag in this price range, while it might seem expensive trust me this is normal for a premium bag. The stitching throughout is very clean, all of the materials seem up to what I would expect for a bag like this. It has neat clasp closures that I've never seen before that are easy to separate and attach with only one hand, they're magnetic and kind of just automagically snap together - but in a way that doesn't separate unintentionally. The only thing that is something that I would have liked to seen different materials wise is the zippers - don't get me wrong, they're good quality zippers, but I couldn't help but notice that they went with SBS zippers here instead YKK which is what I would have preferred to see. Both of these brands make zippers that are cheaper and/or better than the other, but generally, I still prefer YKK for overall quality. For those who aren't zipper nerds, SBS is a smaller/newer Chinese zipper manufacturer and YKK is pretty much the world's giant zipper manufacturer from Japan that has been around forever. The zippers on the bag are all nice, and work well, but I do have a lot of trouble relatively with the zipper on the "hard shelled" storage area at the top of the bag - it is overly tight - but I think it will probably become easier to operate over time. For utility, I don't think I could ask much more out of a bag of this size with pockets and organization features. I'm not going to talk about the standard stuff other than it fits my ultrabook well with a TON of room left in there so it feels like there is a surprisingly big laptop capacity for the overall size of the bag. The unique features of this bag I liked are the large zippered pocket (separate from main compartment) which runs along the whole front of the bag (though feels like you're dissecting the bag every time you open it!), the "hard shelled" zippered storage compartment at the top (like an armored area which can't be crushed for things that are extra fragile.Wearing the bag, I find it comfortable, the shoulder straps feel good and don't dig in and the back panel does a good job of keeping my back from getting extra sweaty despite not having an extreme amount of air space like some of my osprey packs have (at the expensive of being bulkier/losing internal capacity). I like how the bag looks, a LOT. Though it's called "Urban" I find that the style of the bag is something I'd be completely comfortable with wearing in a professional setting.TL;DR -Wow, sorry... this did turn out to be a long review after all. I really like this bag, it's made well out of mostly top notch materials, looks awesome, has great features, is comfortable, and is sized well for every day use. It seems expensive, but it really isn't an out of the ordinary price for a premium backpack.

$300?!?
Pros:Excellent constructionQuality materialsWell-padded computer compartmentNeutral:Very strange design - pockets with no closures - Tile anti-theft pocket all but out in the open - large hard shelled RFID blocking pocket that's way bigger than needed - lots of other features that don't make senseCons:WAAAY overpriced. I'm still looking for the gold thread that would justify a $300 price tag.Small - about 2/3 the size of most other backpacks I've had

Smart backpack!
I was in need of a new backpack for work and when I saw this thought it would be perfect for my needs.Firstly the bag comes in a red dust bag which is a nice touch - out of the dust bag the backpack has the look and feel of a quality product. Its made of water-resistant nylon which is dark grey and black with red accents. Overall the look and feel is that akin to premium bags.Functionality wise it's fantastic and takes a bit of exploring to find out exactly what's on offer! The top front of the backpack is a hardcase perfect for those more delicate items (inside there there's also a pocket for the Keysmart key holder and an RFID blocker pocket). It took me about ten minutes to fully get to grips with the bag. It's got pockets and gadgets everywhere! The secret pockets are super secret, perfect for passports and other important items. The zips are solid and the pull loops are nicely coated in a plastic/rubber material. The magnetic Fidlock claps are great and much more welcome than the standard buckles you get on a backpack.Stitching is top shelf, no loose strands and Parsfinity stitching in the key areas should mean this backpack lasts a lifetime. The straps are padded although not overly so, enough for comfort. The backpad is made out of 'Hexbreathe' which helps to circulate air when wearing the backpack and so far I've found it cool to wear - the backpad also has a suitcase pass through incorporated into it so it will sit on the top of your suitcase without falling off.Fits my Lenovo Thinkpad in without issue and protects it will with the incorporated laptop pocket. It's a great backpack, it isn't massive but perfect for work you'll be able to carry all your essentials. It's of a premium build and should last a long time, the only issue I have is the cost - £189.99 is expensive for a backpack. My most recent backpack cost £120 and is of comparable quality so I think it would benefit from being slightly cheaper. 4 stars only due to the high price.Overall highly reccomended.
