I bought this non dyson product as a replacement head for my Dyson V8 Animal Pro+ which btw I likeMuch better than my V10 Cyclone Dyson. The previous week I purchased the “ Dyson Soft Head” which fits both Dysons but did not have the pick up or steering I expected. This knockoff Dyson product is actually BETTER than the dyson product, quieter, better steering, and picks up like the original head on both Dysons. Plus, ot has a little light on the end of it. Goes under all my furniture the Dyson did except for one exceptionally low dresser that the Dyson did. My sugfestion, Buy it! Not sure yet how durable. My motorhead on my Animal broke after 2 yrs. I’ll let you know if this one breaks but seems to be just as well made of durable plastic parts. I have wood floors throughout our home, rugs, 2 German Shepards that live inside, grandchildren that are here often and I vacume my entire 1800 sq ft home each day

My dyson (v6) motor head just recently broke and I could not get myself to spend $90 on a new one. I have a husky that sheds more than you can imagine so I use my vaccum 3-4 times a day on carpet and hardwood. I’ve had this motor head for a week now and it works wonders on both the carpet and hardwood. I am liking it more than my dyson head, especially on the carpet. Definitely recommend

This is a good replacement part for the price it does have less suction then the regular dyson head. But it does come with a light and that is helpful for using on hardwood floors!

This product fits the Dyson vacuum stick but does not work nearly as well as the Dyson attachment did.Pros — There is a light on it which I love and don’t remember my Dyson attachment having. Costs about 1/3 of the Dyson attachment I found.Cons — This does not pick up as well as the Dyson product. I have to vacuum more slowly, the head often comes off the floor, I can still see things on the floor after I’ve gone over them a time or two, and the end result when I vacuum is not as good. There are also two wheels instead of a ball. This limits the small spaces I can vacuum as it doesn’t turn as much and the wheels take up a wider space than the ball did.Bottom line: If I were to do this again, I would spend the additional money and get the Dyson attachment.

After 30 minutes of use, parts started falling off. The head is small and the suction is weak. I recommend putting out the money for a Dyson brand. It's well worth it.

This is even better than the head of the Dyson that it came with! It has two rear wheels on the rear of it that keeps the head angled well and a light on the front … which the Dyson head has neither!! It is an awesome value!! Worth the money!!

I did not see that others had mentioned this problem, so I hope this time is the exception. I would have given one bar because it was shipped SO poorly——in a clear zip loc bag with no other protective cover! But that wouldn’t be a fair assessment of the actual product, which I would have rated a 4 star. I risk keeping it because I need it now. I just purchased this item and have used it twice. So far the beater bar has good suction on bare floors, just fair on carpet. It has lights on the front. It seems to not drain the battery as quickly. It isn’t as noisy as the original. If the item doesn’t have internal damage due to poor packaging, I will increase the rating.

I was a little apprehensive about buying a knockoff motorhead for my Dyson after reading lots of reviews about eating up battery or not picking debris up well, or poor build quality. I am glad went for it and didn't spend $100+ on the Dyson brand because this has been an overall upgrade. I have also purchased a knockoff battery and that too was an upgrade (more power and longer lasting). This motorhead actually lasts longer than the Dyson did, and the build quality is just as good, if not better.Our house is completely hard floor with a few area rugs here and there. This motorhead does a lot better than the Dyson did on the hard floors, especially with larger debris, like goldfish crackers and cheerios.On the area rugs, it almost as good as the Dyson. The Dyson is better because it has longer bristles, but the the trade off for better performance on hard floors are worth it for us. If you got a lot of carpet or area rugs, be aware that it won't be quite as good as the Dyson was.The light is actually pretty handy. I figured it would be pointless, and waste battery, but it is very helpful in areas with low light.Glad I ignored the bad reviews, and got this! Saved about $70!
