The boot than does it all
Have had 4 pairs of these boots. My job gives us 50 dollars per year for a boot allowance and I buy a new pair every year whether I need a new pair or not. The boots that are 4 years old have been to hell and back. Between hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, working on the job or at home, they’ve impressed me. Makes me wish shoes had an odometer on them so I could see how many miles they’ve trekked. And only are missing an inch of stitching on the toe of the boot. Sadly that has compromised the waterproofing. Between walking on concrete all day to hiking in the mountains they are solid boots. Comfy too. I have had them ankle deep in water whether at work or play and the insides stayed dry. I also wear them riding my motorcycle and my dirt bike where conditions are harsh. The side zips come pretty stiff to zip up at first but then seem to break in with use. There are only two complaints I have about these boots. The first is the shoe laces wear out very fast. However I have never replaced a set of shoelaces on any of my 4 pairs. They just seem to wear quickly. Might sit down one day and replace all the laces on my boots with parachute 550 cord.Second complaint is not really the manufacturers fault. Due to the aggressive tread on the bottom (much like mud tires on a truck) they like to leave chunks of dirt and debris behind. So definitely not a boot you’ll wanna wear in the house.Other than that these boots kick ass. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve worn them for 5 years almost daily. That being said though due to the luxury of getting a $50 allowance for boots at work I do have a strategic rotation of wear for the boots so that they get broken in over time and I don’t have to break them in all at once and wreck my feet. But my first pair has been put through the ringer. I can assure you that. Buy them if you need a boot that can do it all and thank me later.

Terrific, heavy duty boots for all occasions
I normally do not review any items on Amazon, but with these boots, I had to chip in my two cents. I originally bought a size 10 1/2 in high school, and bought a second pair 4 years later, size 12W. These boots are, quite literally, the best and most useful item of clothing I have ever owned. They are top tier quality and work for every occasion.Pros:Zipper that allows you quickly take on/take off these boots without touching the laces onceWaterproof up to the top of the zipperDeep, thick treads that give a true grip while hikingExtremely comfortable due to orthodic-like paddingQuite fire resistant (I've had to stomp out a few fires and I've only ever felt the heat ABOVE the bootline)Boots start out looking great and seem to look better with wearCons:Get this boot in WIDE and a SIZE LARGER than you normally wear. The sizing appears to be a bit off. I wear a size 10.5W, but I got my second pair of boots in 12W because I knew of this issue from my first pair.To sum up, these boots are absolutely tremendous in every aspect- I've had nothing but good experiences with them, and they have yet to let me down.

Keeps Your Feet Dry, fit's like a glove !!!
Awesome boots I used to see the officer's in prison all wearing these boots and they swear by them. Now that I'm out I do pressure washing and my feet are wet all day. I bought these boots and first thing I noticed was they fit like a glove very comfortable and light weight. First day at work I came home and my feet and socks were dry and my feet didn't hurt at all. I LOVE THESE BOOTS !!! I'm sold not only did they outperform all other boots I've tried they were about half the price of some and cheaper than all the rest. They fit perfectly and the heavy duty zipper makes taking off and on quickly no more lacing up Everytime. I Will definitely be buying another pair for daily wear and they are great for motorcycle riding. Plus I love the bad-ass look of them. Rocky Alpha Force size 12.. Con's: I only get about 6 mos out of them, quality is not the greatest perfect if you work in a prison or indoor environment but if you're in construction, painting, pressure washing etc. They will start to fall apart after about 6 mos.. I wish they would add a loop on the back to pull them on mine always start to rip and come apart from gripping the top band to pull them on but for $100 pair of boots I'll deal with it.. hands down the most comfortable boots I've ever wore and will continue to buy as long as the price stays around $100..

Almost perfect.
These boots have almost everything.Waterproof, high ankle with more than adequate ankle support, laces for simple fitment adjustments AND side zipper for slip-on convenience (!!!), great tread depth and grip for most situations, relatively lightweight, comfortable soles that I’ve enjoyed 9-12 hour days 5 days a week in with minimal break-in time, climbing up and down with lots of steps and uneven ground. Very comfortable, good fit.BUT — I would sacrifice a pinky toe for a steel toe in a similar boot from Rocky. Even a composite toe for weight savings. Something that I can enjoy in safety-toe environments without switching back over to an uncomfortable, blistering, inferior boot. The ultimate point of failure on my last pair was the bottom portion coming loose, but the boot was still mostly usable aside from waterproofing and unseemly appearance. The replacement pair was a different country of origin, but maintains the same quality I found in my first pair. The zipper flap design is slightly different, but the portion that actually touches your sock is exactly the same.I’ve gotten countless hours out of these boots, and I’ll probably find myself buying another pair once these eventually wear out.
