The lid fits my Wagner 8 in. skillet perfectly! Very little side to side movement. It fits my Lodge 8 in. good as well. Just a little more side to side movement than on the Wagner. Very well made and a nice addition to my cast iron cookware.

A very nice tool. I got it to cover a #5 cast iron skillet about 125 years old. It is a bit big although both measure 6". It works fine so I can fry a single hamburger without crapping up the stovetop. The knob on top is rubberized and doesn't get hot.

The media could not be loaded. I'm impressed with the quality of this lid. It's definitely heavy duty and made with premium pre-seasoned cast iron. It's a perfect fit on my Lodge 8 inch pan. It comes with a thick red non-slip silicone handle cover. The silicone is heat resistant, but it still gets hot, so make sure to use a pot holder when taking the lid off. We used it for the first time on Thanksgiving to make cauliflower mac and cheese on our smoker. OMG!! It was delicious!! Everything was cooked to perfection, the drip-points worked well and the heat seemed to be evenly distributed. Now, here's what happened to really impress me with the quality. My husband is new to using cast iron, but of course he knows everything, so he didn't listen to me and didn't wash or dry it like it should've been. Shocker!! 😲I even set out the handy little instruction booklet that comes with it. 🤦‍♀️ I didn't notice until today, almost a week later, when I took it out to use it. 😡 I'm extremely perturbed, to say the least. As you can see in the pictures, it looks like it's rusting. I did a little googling to see what to do, then got out my Bar Keepers friend, a chainmail scrubber and my cast iron scrub brush. With a little elbow grease, it's back to looking brand new. Needless to say, he won't be cleaning any of the cast iron EVER again! Quick tip - FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS IN THE INSTRUCTION BOOKLET!!! You will save yourself a lot of time and frustration. After use, make sure that you hand wash it and dry it on the stove at medium heat. I recommend that you season the lid, as well as all your cast iron, after every single use. It will keep your cast iron looking great and it'll make sure you get optimum performance every time you use your cast iron. I'd highly recommend this lid. The quality and performance is the same as the Lodge brand.
