Yaki(ware) Japanese Yunomi Tea Cup Flower

What can I say? It looks exactly like the photos, though it's a little bit bigger than I thought it would be (which is a plus!). It's so beautiful. The petals are so delicate, and the colors are really soothing.It only took FIVE days to get to Florida from Japan, which was such a pleasant surprise. They also included an adorable origami spiral in the package. I will certainly order from this seller again!

This has a little divot for my finger. It's really feels secure and comfortable to hold. Does get hot to hold, but not so much that you can't use the cup to drink your tea right away. Have ordered another one as a gift for a friend!

I had a feeling this beautiful cup would not get here in one piece. It was shattered upon arrival. I heard it as soon as I pulled it from my mailbox. It was NOT packaged well enough for a fragile item. In a plastic Amazon bag, simple little box the size of the cup, cup wrapped in one layer of paper, one thin layer of foam wrap (5 mm total?). So sad. There was only one left.

Beautiful piece of art: hand-painted, very light, and geometrically complex. It's a pleasure to hold it in your hand.
