Q: Where are these made?

i don't know where they are made but i have used these for many years and they are very good gouging carbons.

Q: Do you use an oxygen tank for this or air compressor ?

Hi Jeremy. I bought these for something else than what they are made for, but I used to work in a welding shop, and we used them for cutting off trailer hitches. We used shop compressed air in the unit. It makes a pretty ugly cut, so if you want to try oxygen, you might find it's cleaner. (But expensive...)

Q: I got a dewalt air compressor,3.2 cfm at 100psi 2 gal tank 100% duty cycle will it run this?

Yes and no, the psi is enough to properly remove the metal when gouging. With only a 2gal tank, there will not be enough air to do a large amount of gouging at once. You will have to wait for the compressor to catch up quite often. If money is a concern, get yourself an auxilary air tank and hook it up to the compressor to increase your tank size. If you are gouging small welds you are ok, if you are doing large cuts like on heavy equipment you will have trouble keeping air pressure.
