Great little mount. I use it with an S23+ on my PS4 controller and have zero issues. The phone itself is quite heavy with my case but I haven't had any issue lying in bed playing stuff on my phone despite that. Just make sure your case isn't too bulky or that might get in the way of phone placement. Other than that, absolutely great product I use everyday; the quality of the plastic feels like it'll stand the test of time - angling the mount doesn't feel like it's going to break every time you move it or anything of that sort.

My son recently got into Fortnite and he’s been bugging to buy a Nintendo Switch. I got this because I’m cheap and figured that a good alternative would be to give him my old iPhone 6s and buy him a DualShock controller and this clamp. $50 vs $300....I used the clamp on an iPhone 6s+ & iPhone X and it held both along with their cases just fine. The problem my son and I had with it was the phones were cantilevered off the backend of the controller which made holding the DualShock very back-heavy and awkward after a little awhile. In the end, he switched back to using a phone stand. I’m going to keep this for road trips in the car where using a stand isn’t possible but at home, it’s not comfortable and better to use a stand.As for the build quality, it fit my controller just fine. It’s thin plastic so I can see how this could easily break if the controller was accidentally dropped and landed on the clamp.A better design idea is if the clamp was made to hold the phone directly over the controller. This way the weight from the phone is centered above your hands and it is easily balanced. The only drawback from is that the phone would cover the buttons. However, it could be made so that the phone holder could be reversible so it could be switched to either hanging off the backside like it does currently or flipped around to hold it over the controller.

First of all, the clip for the phone is great because it allows for you to fit any reasonably sized phone. It fit my iPhone 6s perfectly, with plenty of extra room. I don't know, however, if it will work with some of the oversized phones that almost resemble tablets, but if your phone is not ridiculously huge you will have zero problems. I love the clear construction, which minimizes how much the clip takes away from the aesthetic of the controller. I have the white PlayStation 4 with white controllers and the fact that this clip is clear allows me to still show off the design and color of the controller. The clip itself is very adjustable, allowing for optimal viewing angles when playing games. The only slight thing that made me have any sort of dislike for the product is that the clipping mechanism could be better to attach the clip around the controller. I almost thought that my clip was broken before I finally was able to click it into place. It takes a decent amount of force to lock the clip into place, so don't be afraid to push hard. It is sturdy enough to withstand the force. Overall, it was a great product and I would definitely buy again and recommend for those looking for a great solution to attach their phone to their controller.

As much as I hate competing for attention with the PS4, my man seems to love this thing. He downloaded some game on his phone that works with the controller. Don't quote me on that but yeah. Now he can lay next to me instead of trying to prop his phone up everywhere like a crazy guy.He says it a great product and works as described. It's not easily removed once attached but that's what makes it sturdy and worth it apparently. Let's hope he doesn't man handle it and break the d@mn thing within a week. Trust me.. happens all the time with every little thing possible -_____-

So the controller grip was pretty good for cheap!But the only problem is that it kinda feels uncomfortable but I think that’s just me because I have kinda big hands. Anyway it’s actually great quality for the price.

When the clip works it's great, but that's how it should come. Instead there is a chance that they will require some problem solving skills to make it work. Looking at the reviews it looks like getting one of these that fits right is luck of the draw. Some are fine, some are missing a clip, mine came not properly formed so the clips never met around the controller. I was able to melt the plastic so it would make a proper form around the controller but would never expect anyone to have to literally remold plastic to get the product that was advertised.
