Very Good Stuff, Real Synthetic Ester Group-V 4T Motorcycle Oil
It is difficult to write an oil review since most all modern oils are excellent and rarely if ever do you hear of an engine failure caused by oil so with this in mind: I use this Ravenol 5W-40 Full Synthetic 4T oil in my 2013 BMW R1200GS liquid cooled motorcycle.BMW specifies using oil that is: SAE 5W-40, API SL / JASO MA2 certified which this oil is plus it actually has the newer API SM spec so it is 100% appropriate to use in my application. For the first several oil changes I used the Castrol Power1 oil (Group-III) that BMW recommends in the owners manual and was fine with that until I switched to Bel-Ray EXS 5W-40 Ester 4T (Ester Group-V) oil after the change the transmission shifted more smoothly and the engine was noticeably more quiet, these engines are naturally mechanically noisy though.I decided to try the Ravenol Motobike 5W-40 due to the fact that is also a full Ester Group-V oil and has the same specifications as the Bel-ray EXS but less expensive. After changing to this oil I noticed no difference between the Ravenol and the Bel-ray oil it also appears to be very high quality and is certainly a better value than the class-III oils with the exception of Shell Rotella T6 that many are running in their GS's.I have not had any oil analysis reports completed I typically put little stock in those reports. My recommendation is that if you want to use a real ester Group-V synthetic oil in your bike this the most affordable 5W-40.

but this was the best. The only thing I did not do was ...
I bought this for my 2016 BMW R1200GSw. I've been searching for an oil that gives a little smoother shifts with the GSAP and this seems to do it. It meets all factory specs at a reduced price over OEM. I tried several other brands of oil, some meeting OEM specs and few not (10-40w), but this was the best. The only thing I did not do was a Blackstone analysis, but I honestly don't think it's necessary.

Great oil!
The second order came in good packing, each bottle individually sealed in a plastic bag inside a cardboard carton. No leaks! The oil itself makes for a smooth running engine, good clutch operation and slick gearshifts. Recommended.

Good for BMW motorcycles
Run it in my 2016 BMW R1200 GSA and have found it to be a reasonably priced synthetic oil with ester - no complaints!
