This was my first time using builder gel. Just finished a set. It is hard builder gel, so expect to work with a thick consistency. It was a little difficult to use but, after finishing one hand the second hand was easier to do. I used the nude. One coat has your nails looking natural while two coats leaves you with a nice nude pink, perfect for doing a French or American manicure. Something a friend told me that I found to work is turning your hand upside down once your done and then angling it down so the gel can flatten evenly and build the apex layer of your nail (I hope that makes sense). I accidentally forgot to use dehydrator and base on one hand so I’ll that hand as a comparison to the other. Will come back in a week to update with how it’s holding up. I work in maintenance and am always fixing / lifting stuff so I’ll be putting these to the test.Update 1: it’s been a few days. One of my hands I used dehydrator and base and the other hand I didn’t. The hand with the dehydrator and base is holding up amazing. The other hand is showing some lifting, which is to be expected. I’ve bumped my fingers and smashed them already and no signs of cracking or lifting on the hand with dehydrator and base.Update 2: It’s been a little over a week and the side without dehydrator or base coat has popped off. The side with dehydrator and base coat is still going strong with no chips or lifting. Don’t forget to use a dehydrator and base coat! It makes all the difference.

My friends daughter has this & has done my nails a few times for occasions. I thought I’d give it a go myself, now I’m a million miles away from being a professional & im sure there is a knack to it but it didn’t look too shabby for a first attempt 🤨 the set is just what you need to start out with & the product is easy to use.

Arrived in a non water tight bottle so leaked in transit even before I used it

I am a total noob at looking after my nails but decided to give it a go, (I'm a cheapscake) I was a nail biter for many years and didn't have much of a nail, If I can do it anyone can it was very easy once you have prepared your nails first, I also brought an electric manicure set which I recommend as it makes everything much easier, put on the guide in your finger, and put on a thin layer in the nail and work outwards until you have the length you desire, now the product is quite thick but if you keep at it, it starts to thin down and becomes much easier to use.inbetween layers I wiped with nail cleaner.I didn't worry about it being perfect and here is where the electric mani machine comes in as it has several different heads from polishing, grinding etcIn 2 weeks 2 nails have come off but I think that is my inexperience more than the product, but I'm really happy with it the price works out a bargain

Great item, value for money and easy to use

I don't recommend this product.First challenge is to even get into the little pots as it's very hard to peel the foil off.When applied white and pink gel it all looked more like clear gel rather than colours.Not happy with this product at all.
