1 lb. coil. Twisted green grass rope made in China, looks like rush. Ages to tan color. Used for chairs or basketry. Takes about 3 lb. for a large chair seat.

Cat loves it!
Worked wonderful as a replacement for worn cat scratching posts. Much cheaper that buying a replacement post and is holding up well under his daily scratching sessions. This roll covered two posts with plenty of leftover footage. My cat will not use hemp scratching post so finding a source of seagrass was very helpful.

I use this rope to make rabbit chew toys for my bunny
Bunny loves to chew these and they’re all natural with no artificial odor. Seems very durable and pliable so it was easy to fix the rabbit chew toy that he previously destroyed. You can wrap this rope on a piece of non treated wood and secure with a little non toxic hot glue to make a diy rabbit toy.

Twisted Seagrass
We used it to repair a cat scratching pole. The original product disintegrated quickly and this size has lasted extremely well. She loves it, and for this application it works beautifully.

Perfect for cat scratcher replacement
Purchased this to redo the cat scratcher that was originally sea grass. Works perfectly, same thickness as original, and looks exactly the same. I redid a 20"h x 3"w section and still had some left over. Very happy with purchase.

Great for birds!
Used this rope to wrap various smooth surface poles and perches that my bird was having a hard time hanging onto. Now he runs up and down his play place at lightening speed and loves to chew on the rope as well!

Twisted Seagrass 4.5mm-5mm 1lb coil
I was able to take the non-safe white regular rope off my parrots toy (that's the way it was sold). I replace it with this Safe Seagrass Rope. He is excited to get his toy back & I am relieved that he won't chew digest the white rope that can kill him!

DO NOT use outdoors
I thought this would be fine in my sunny SoCal patio, but it got very moldy after just the slightest bit of rain. I wrapped part of an aluminum umbrella pole with this rope, but apparently seagrass rope cannot take any amount of moisture whatsoever; so ironic! I may try again and spray it with wood finish or something after wrapping--not sure.
