Yes, it does state "Synthetic Safe Firearm Cleaner" on the front of the spray can.

Q: What is the NSN for these products?

There's no NSN fo any of them - neither is used by any branch of the US Armed Forces, AFAIK. And a lookup on the NSN database doesn't return any hits for "BirchWood Casey" or "Gun Scrubber". Contact THEM and ask THEM.

Q: Safe for gas operated semi auto guns?

Aren't they all ? Unless you have a railgun . . . If you mean if it is safe for DI or *piston* guns, yes - it is safe for both. The *Gun Scrubber* is. You're of course welcome to use the Barricade to clean and protect the gun for medium-term storage, but I would clean it (even if it has very low viscosity) before shooting the gun again. I've used the Gun Scrubber to clean all kind of handgunds, piston & DI rifles, roller-block guns, shotguns, you name it. However, remember it *strips away not only dirt/carbon but also any oils*. So after cleaning your gun w/it, you'll need to apply a thin layer of CLP to any metal parts. Also be careful with wood. I've used it to clean polymer guns w/o any issues.
