These are super easy to install and so far I’ve used the Traeger probably a dozen times and so far it seems to be holding up really well.

first igniter ran for maybe 30 seconds, nailed the main fuse of the controller and was then dead, full open circuit across the unit. second one is still functioning but has welded and internal contact in my controller now so that its always one whenever the smoker is on. this would be fine if it wasnt also smashing fuses, by the ferocity of the fuse blow id say its pulling 7-8 amps immediately, killed one fuse with enough oomph to shatter the fuse housing and leave half of it behind in the fuse carrier. they seem to be working for some but for the price and PITA process of changing out igniters your better off spending a bit more cash somewhere else.ive contacted the seller for a refund as ill have zero confidence in a replacement

Worked perfect but was slightly difficult to install. Had to remove a lot of components to get to the probe to replace it. Just pay attention to what you removed and put it back together the same way and its not too bad

my pitboss did not heat anymore and after a few youtube videos they all said this part was causing the fuzz and order 2, once it came in the mail a few screws and some finessed with the vacuum this heater was installed and moments later fire right up I was smoking up in no time.

Easy to install, we will see how long of a life they have. That’s the reason I bought the two pack. I had to replace the ignitor on my Pitboss after two years of owning it. I purchased one of these igniters a year ago and it burnt out. So hopefully these will last me a year also.
