Lots of pockets!
I love this jacket. I wear it to the gym and whenever I go shopping. It has so many pockets that I do not have to carry a purse.

So many pockets!!
Oh my gosh, I have raved about this jacket to everyone I know, because I Love how many pockets it has! As a female who is a victim of clothing only coming with teeny tiny girl-pockets - or worse, fake pockets - I deeply appreciate the thoughtfulness that came with the pocket designs in this jacket.I know it’s expensive, but there is no other jacket like this on the market, and I will gladly invest in more of these when I can budget for it.My Only complaint is that sometimes I find the jacket itself (empty) is on the warm-side. Which would be great for winter travels, but I was traveling in the summer - to countries where winter doesn’t exist - so I wish there was a lighter version of this jacket for those hot days! Especially traveling on a plane, it always seems to be hotter with all that body heat from everyone on the plane.I fill this baby up with all my gadgets, easily take it off for security (discreet enough to prevent pickpocketing valuables from the screening line), throw it back on to get through the gate (without it counting as a another bag), and strip that sucker right off in my seat (so I don’t sweat and stink up the person next to me).But think of it this way, the quality is great, I’ve had it for months now, taken it on a handful of trips already, packed full, and it is still holding strong without any damages. I think if it were any lighter, you might miss out on that durability, so I’m content with it as-is. But if it did come in a lighter version, I would still buy it for those summer vacations and just keep in mind what I store in the pockets so it’s not too heavy to rip it.One thing to note, you probably do want to size-up, because when you pack it with everything it does get tighter, so if you want to be able to zip it after then get a larger size. I’m normally a small, border-line XS, and I ordered a medium and it fits great. My mom is normally a medium, and when she wears this packed it is tight on her, she can barely zip it. But she also loves the pockets, and my dad feels left out of the experience, so I’ll probably buy them each one as a gift (sized up).One thing that is interesting concept is the zipper goes all the way up, so it’s nice to take a nap in if you don’t have an eye mask; however, even a size-up, when zipped up it presses against your nose, so it’s not actually comfortable enough to nap in. If they made the hood alittle oversized, so that it’s not so tight when zipped, then this would be a great concept and I could see myself using that feature more on those overnight flights. So overall, it’s not perfect but I would definitely buy more, and recommend it to others.Like I said, there’s really no other jacket like this with this many pockets, so it’s on another level compared to others. The company is definitely doing something right here, but has more work to fine-tune The Perfect product.

Miracle jacket
Well thought out use of hidden zippered pockets which allows you to keep valuables and necessary items in convenient areas in the vest. Perfect fit, very comfortable to wear.

Beautiful color and very comfy
My daughter loved it! She is going out of the country and this jacket is perfect for her to take and keep her important items close without feeling bulky.

Interesting Concept but Serious Design Flaws
Now that I’ve taken this hoodie on an extended international trip, the kind of trip I think it was intended for, I can write a serious review.I’ve looked at this hoodie for a while now, and I’ve been very intrigued but hesitant, mostly because of the steep price tag. However, I decided to pull the trigger for my trip to South Africa and Zimbabwe in August (important to note because it’s Winter in South Africa).I wore the hoodie almost every day, and made the best use of its features that I could, both for urban exploring and several days on safari. On the plus side, having all these pockets of varying sizes is a brilliant idea and for the most part, logically implemented. I can safely say I used every single pocket, even the tiny ones. The best features in my opinion:1. The ability to securely load it up with everything I needed in my seat for the airplane - my reading glasses (love the attached lens cloth!), passport, boarding documents, kindle reader, phone, charger cords, chapstick, medication, sleep mask, wireless headphones (I used the key cord to make sure I could easily retrieve the case), credit cards, cash, and even my flat flask-style water bottle. The only thing that didn’t fit was my memory foam neck pillow. For daily/urban exploring, items like a tablet, umbrella or binoculars are too heavy and/or bulky for this hoodie - my flat water bottle was really pushing it.2. The thumb holes (for a cold day, these were nice, although I’m not sure the fold over design is necessary)3. The combination of zippers and Velcro. Both felt secure and gave me lots of options. Things like credit cards, passport and phone felt particularly safe in pockets that were perfectly sized for them.4. The materials used in construction, from the body of the hoodie, to the lining, smooth-running zippers and accessory attachments - everything was very good to excellent in quality, with lots of thoughtful details. The hoodie material itself is very good and far better than most. For the price though, I’d like it to be a bit more like my favorite hoodie of all time from a huge athleisure line that starts with an L. Denser and sturdier. There were several notable design flaws. Some are quite serious, others are perhaps just me being picky about an item that cost more than $160.1. First and foremost - this is a biggie and a dealbreaker for me to recommend this item overall - the main zipper. This is a little difficult to describe, and I didn’t take note of it in the item description when I bought it. The zipper is of excellent quality, but to this day, I cannot figure out why it would zip all the way from the bottom hem, past the neck to close the hood completely. It’s totally inexplicable. It’s not as if you’d ever want to zip it tightly over your face! What’s more, this major design flaw makes it possible to lose the zipper slider piece, (whatever that is called) entirely if it is run from one side of the hoodie all the way to the other side - it slides right off. I washed it when I got home and had this happen. Fortunately it didn’t happen when I sent the hoodie out to be washed by a hotel. If it had come off then, I would’ve never seen it again. If this design is ever updated, and I hope it is, this zipper needs to be a two-way zipper. I’d buy this hoodie all over again if they made just that one change. A two-way zipper that ends at the neck.2. The lining, where all the pockets and gadgets are located, is only in the front half of the hoodie. The back is unlined, and therefore it’s uneven in terms of warmth and wind resistance. Making the hoodie completely lined, would not only add the possibility of one large rear pocket perhaps, but it would also even out the weight and effectiveness of the garment overall.3. Another change I’d like to see, and while this may not be standard, it would be extremely helpful - if the two outer hand pockets, which zip from bottom to top, were instead to zip top to bottom. It would then be possible to zip them closed one-handed and more quickly than closing bottom to top which requires two hands. For security’s sake, it would be nice if it was just a one-handed operation.4. Again, I liked the thumb holes but not the fold over cuffs, mostly because I don’t care for the gray cuff lining that shows when they’re folded. I bought the white hoodie because it was the only color offered that I didn’t completely hate. I was worried that it would end up looking grungy (remarkably it didn’t. I did wash it once over the period of three weeks) but the gray trim is unattractive in my opinion. It would be nice to see these hoodies in better colors overall. These colors look very dated to me.5. There are several gratuitous but intentional holes, loops, etc. in the lining that I couldn’t perceive any use for, and none of the labels or description offered clues as to how they were to be used.Generally speaking, these design flaws, in light of the cost of the hoodie, would be enough for me to want to return it, but as I wore it daily for nearly a month, I imagine that’s not possible. I do hope that the manufacturer will consider updating this design, as it is a brilliant idea, but flawed in execution. As I mentioned before, steep price aside, if some changes were made, I’d buy another one.

Size Up!!
I bought this jacket in 3 sizes to find the right fit. While my normal size Large fit and looked good, once I put anything in the inner pockets, it was a lumpy, bumpy mess. So, I went up one size. Again, with empty pockets it looked fine, if a little big. With items in the pockets, however, it was a lumpy, bumpy mess like the smaller size was. Not one to give up, I returned that one as well and ordered a new one 2 sizes up from my normal size and success! Empty it is too big, but with items in the inner pockets, it is no longer a lumpy, bumpy mess. My sister and I are going to Italy in November and I am excited to have this jacket. No purse to schlep around and no worry about pickpockets since everything will be on the inside. I liked the coat so much that I have ordered a vest so that I can have the inner pockets in weather wear the jacket is not needed. It is expensive, but I think it is well worth it for peace of mind while traveling.
