I purchased this shoe in a size 12, which is my size. When the shoe came, I tried on the shoe and it was way too tight on my feet. In fact, I could not walk in the shoes and my foot did even have room for air flow. I returned the shoe for a size 13, which I was very skeptical about getting that size but I was will to try.Well, the new shoe size came and I tried it on and, it fit much better than the 12 did. What's more, wearing a very thin sock, my foot would shift as I walked in the shoe. That just told me that I needed to wear regular socks when I wear the shoes. It also is very slippery, so scrape the bottom on concrete before walking in them.On Tuesday I wore the shoes for the first time. It was very comfortable on my feet and it looked very sharp as well. However, for some reason, my foot felt longer than normal. I guess that was the look of the shoes and not my feet. In fact, my feet are more wide than they are long. Anyhow, it did not stop me from wanting the 12 look. For now, I will wear the shoes and see if the length will grow on me. Other than that, the shoe is well maid and worth the price. The shoes came in a very professional packed box, which displayed a sense of importance and class when you opened the box.For now, I will continue to wear the shoes. If I am able to overcome the length of the shoes I might probably buy two more shoes. Since I purchased the shoes, I have been looking for size 13 in other colors, however, it keeps telling me that they are not available. I will keep looking anyway, so take my advice, its money well spent based on my early assessment.Update: I have worn the shoes 4 times since purchasing and each time, it gets better. The shoe no longer looks long, in fact, it is spreading more east to west now and feeling very comfortable. It appear that buying the shoe in a larger sizes (13) was a good decision, considering, the 12 was not wearable because it was so tight. Now, here is my problem, I cannot get another pair in my size. I even went to the site. It was just too good to be true.

This is my third (and best) purchase from Allonsi. The Goodyear Welted Oxford is VERY comfortable. The box comes with an information card about the technology that makes the shoes so comfortable. I feel like I could wear them for days and not get tired of them! I got the Captoe Brown finish, and I love it. The color pairs great with lots of my suits and dress pants. As with most of the shoes I've bought from Allonsi, the pair comes in dust bags and with a shoe horn. Dust bags like these usually only come with very expensive shoes, and the bags are great for traveling! These oxfords look and feel expensive but are actually quite affordable. I can only say good things about the shoes, and you need to get a pair for yourself!

Has been since the early 1990's that I have purchased a dress shoes of ' extreme ' craftsmanship and quality like this pair of Allonsi.These aren't Neiman Marcus dress shoes, but they aren't $1800 + either.I bought the wingtip in the Bordo color that will go with most any suit. The money I saved on this great looking shoe will buy a lot of suits and accessories. Also, the reviews concerning the size are spot on.I went up to a 10 from my usual 9 1/2, and will be just fine, but you have to give the time to 'break them in'.

I wear expensive leather boots for work that usually require 2-4 weeks to break in. No issues with these after one wear. A little break in for comfort would help but not uncomfortable. Wear size 12 and 12 fit great. Slimmer fit so not for men qith wider feet. Quality seems great. Very satisfied

I've had them only about a month and the finish wore off the uppers. Will never buy again. They look terrible and these were expensive.
