No leaks good fit

No matter how much you tighten these will always leak because they are not threaded properly for water lines. You may hit success with some cross threading but then your other side will be trashed. Skip these and go to a local plumbing supply. This is not something they have at Home Depot

It just worked as advertised. I see several comments about it leaking after installing it onto a 3/8 water valve. The problem is the center of these stainless adapters does not have a raised ring to secure the washer so it does not get pushed into the large compression ring void area of the water valve. To fix these issues, you can cut a piece of a 3/8 pex just long enough so it sticks out about 1-2mm above the water valve outlet, this way the rubber washer would stay in place and seal the adapter. Hope this helps because these are the best adapters that are absolutely lead free and not NSF/ANSI 61 lead-free .25 percent leaded brass.

Easy to use

Definitely perfect for the job, seals were water tight and even came with additional hardware to make my life easier.

I was to replace a 3/8” fitting but this product just didn’t fit on all fronts. Perhaps I was sent 1/4” size in place of 3/8” & my entire plans, shattered.Not even the 1/2” counterpart could be used

So I hooked this up and it leaked so I put my thread tape and it still leaked installed a 3rd time still leaked pulled off the gasket had torn because I tightened it too much removed put thread tape put on store bought one and it worked first time lol
