Smelly
Smells like petrol/ strong chemicals. Made my mattress stink as well. Smell was too strong in my house for days and it lingered in my room for weeks. Even after a month, if you go near this mat it smells. It's good build and finishing otherwise. Buy if you have a terrace or balcony to let it air for few days/weeks. Otherwise, be prepared for a prolonged, irritating stink
