Just excellent!
Small-sized, doesn't bother my left hand when shaping chords near it, seems strong and durable. I got two, one for my Dubai house gear set and one for my Greece house gear, guessing and reading other reviews. It was not a mistake, I'm happy with the purchase, it is an absolute "bang for my bucks".

NS Capo Pro - good while it lasted, but didn't last long
I've always had cheapo capos over the years so as a pro musician, I thought I'd spend a *little* more on the NS Capo Pro in the hope that it would last a bit longer. Sadly it didn't live up to expectations.Good things - lightweight, easy to use, good tuning and really unobtrusive on the neck. A pleasure to play with.Bad thing - it broke! Ordered in Sep 2020, it broke in January 2021. I wasn't even gigging during these times due to COVID so was just being used for studio use and a few live streaming gigs. The adjustment nut broke as I was tightening it, leaving the capo stuck on the neck. I thought maybe I was just unlucky - but reading through some other reviews, it seems others have had the same issue. Nearly took a punt on buying another, but clearly it's a fairly common issue so I think I'll look elsewhere for my next capo. A shame, because it was the best capo I've used in terms of playability, but 4 months before it breaks isn't much use!

Not the best capo for flamenco
Update 2020: As a Flamenco player, I rely heavily on the use of a capo to alter pitch and take advantage of opening string voicings further up the neck because it significantly enhances a piece.Looking back over my order history, it seems that I have bought two of these over the last 8 years as well as trying a variety of others (G7th, Kyser, Shubb). None of them were that good because they didn't clamp evenly, hard enough or were too prone to wear. Probably the most annoying of the weaknesses was the poor or uneven clamping pressure which meant that if a finger pushed a string slightly out of alignment, it stayed there and created a large gap between strings. Well I have to say, that despite me inadvertently buying a second one of these, this capo performs not much better than those others. It simply does not exert enough pressure on the strings and is easily moveable despite tightening the little aluminium dial as much as possible (which is not that easy to grip). The string pressure is also uneven, creating intonation problems as well as poor tone. It marginally better than some of the other brands because it it light and has a low profile. But I still find myself gravitating back to the old Jim Dunlop versions which are simple, old school low tech and provide more even and tighter clamping.

Perhaps the most unobtrusive, lightweight and effective capo there is?
This is about as unobtrusive, lightweight and effective a capo as can be found anywhere - I came to this having for some time previously coveted the marvellously tactile but almost twice as expensive G7th Performance capo. A pro guitarist drew my attention to the NS Capo pro and I quickly came around to it's minimalist efficiency. I still like picking up and fiddling about with other people's G7th's but this D'addario/Planet Waves capo is perfect for the job and half the weight.Be aware that there's a cheaper 'lite' version of this capo. The design is pretty much exactly the same except that it's made from ABS plastic instead of aviation grade aluminium. Although the plastic 'lite' version is not recommended for 12 string guitars, I believe it's as effective but at a pocket money price point. Otherwise, if you're not especially budget constrained I'd recommend the pro version. It's pleasingly good and you won't regret it!

Breaks easily!
Had this for less than a month and the knob which tightens the capo came off, leaving me unable to remove the capo from my guitar. In the middle of a gig. With no pliers. It was a real pain in the neck. Had to remove it when I got home . I wouldn’t recommend this at all

Very good capo
Bought two of these. Very happy with them so far. Only a few weeks in so holding back 5 stars for that reason. Very strong clamp which can be adjusted in strength.
