Weber Genesis II Cover, Black

I have a Weber Genesis II LX E-340 3-burner propane grill, purchased in 2018. I also purchased a Weber grill cover model #7130 at that time. That original grill cover held up very well for the past 6 years, being exposed to sun, rain, and snow year-around. The cover itself had not ripped in any way but the Velcro straps had deteriorated, so I set out to purchase a replacement. I had a hard time finding this replacement grill cover of the right size, since Weber has introduced new grill models since then with new cover models and sizes. This one fits my older grill model perfectly. It is light weight but sturdy, so is easy to put on and take off. It doesn't touch the ground, so accumulated snow doesn't touch it and I can blow leaves out from under it. It rained shortly after installing this cover, and the photo shows the water beading up on top.

UPDATE YEAR 5Still in great shape. As undated (black not fading to gray) as day one. The only way you can tell it isn’t new is that the Weber logo is white and pink instead of gray and red. No big deal to me. Read my tip below on hire to help it last. (I don’t receive any compensation from the manufacturer or seller)****************************************************Three and a half years later this cover has not faded, is still pliable and easy to fold up and store.Many negative reviewers don't like the lighter weight material. Other than the obvious lower resistance to tearing I liked it better. It's easier to adjust, doesn't get tough and brittle and is easier to put on and take off. The original heavier gauge cover that came with the grill became hard and stiff after two seasons and tore in several places because it was difficult to pull over the grill. So, a trade off I can live with.Tip: Every spring I spray a cloth with WD40 and wipe down the whole cover. Keeps it pliable, helps sheet off rain and extends the life of the cover.People complain but the fact is a grill cover isn't going to last 10 years.When this one wears out I'll buy another one.

Good fit

My authentic Weber grill cover is well made and made to fit my Weber grill perfectly. Each end has Velcro bands that securely keep the cover on even on very windy days. Although a little pricey it’s well made, looks great and worth the price.

Great new cover much better that the old cover

I bought the Weber Genesis S-435, and it came with no cover. This one fits my grill like a glove and has survived a couple of tropical storms, too. The Velcro on the sides keep it secure in the wind.

Although it probably won’t last more than a few years in the hot Florida sun it is still the best available.

We’ve bough grill covers before from box stores. They never hold up. This one seems thicker so we’re hopeful it will last longer.
