Good choice
I really like these, they're a small capsule and only one a day. They do taste a little funny but not bad and they have a strong smell. I did get the red itchy rash that others have mentioned the very first day I took them but I wasn't sure if it was the pills or not as I get idiopathic hives some times so I took them again and it didn't happen, I've been taking them 3 weeks now and no problems.

Checks All Nutritional Boxes
When I had my gastric sleeve procedure, I spent a lot of time researching the different bariatric multivitamins. I took the label for the nutritionists recommended vitamin and compared it with several options. This one met or exceeded all of the required nutritional needs. I even took to my surgeon to verify it and he was happy with it. I also liked that it includes ginger to try and combat nausea and that it's made in the USA. It does have a flavor that is a little difficult, but my surgeon said that if you keep it in the fridge, that cuts down on the flavor. I haven't done this. I do notice that if I don't have enough food/protein around the time I take it, I do get nauseous. But as long as I have a shake or eat something, I don't have any problems. Occasionally I will get burps that bring the flavor back, which isn't pleasant, but it's not that often.I have this item on a subscription order to auto ship every 3 months and have not had any issues with receiving it. I'm very happy with my choice to use this bariatric multivitamin. I'm almost 10 months post surgery and have used these from the beginning with no issues.

Terrible taste!
I got this product because it had a high iron content in 1 capsule and I didnt need to buy 2 separate bottles of vitamins and iron supplements. These are the absolute worst tasting multi-vitamin I've ever had! Just for that split second to take it will make you gag. They stink, tastes absolutely terrible, will cause horrible after taste and burps, will leave your hand smelling nasty after holding it for a few seconds and takes a couple of hand washes to get the smell off of your skin. I couldn't finish the bottle it was so gross. Honestly, you can buy 2 separate bottle of vitamins and high Iron supplements for way less money. I'll stick with doing that for now on!

Great multivitamin option for gastric bypass patients+, but missing the mark on some items
Apparently this is a novella review and I apologize in advance.I chose to have gastric bypass surgery 10 years ago and I've lost over 130 lbs and I've maintained it since. When I chose to embark upon this journey I knew it would drastically change my life and improve not only my body, but my soul and self. I wanted to lose weight for so many reasons: put diabetes into remission, keep my heart healthy, avoid the health issuse of my parents, ease the already strained & damaged discs, avoid further damage to my heavily compromised spine, strengthen weak muscles, avoid further joint damage, putting off knee and hip replacement surgeries for at least 20 years, and improve my overall health to living a longer healthier life. I chose to embrace a healthier attitude. The surgery did come with both known and unfortunately many unknown costs. A known cost was the inabilty to properly absorb proteins, vitamins and minerals due to a reroute of the digestive tract and creating a new smaller stomach pouch. It bypasses the original one and therefore alters how digestion works for vitamins, minerals and important fuels for the body are processed by the body. By bypassing the old system, the body's process of breaking down liquids, solids, vitamins, minerals and necessary fuels is altered and they leave the body much quicker. They don't go through the proper separation of fuels and nutrients causing mal-absorbtion. Nonsurgical patients don't face these difficulties due to their normal digestive processes. They take on average 1 or 2 general multivitamins to fulfill the daily requirements and take little to no prescription medications.Prior to my surgery, I received a very lengthy education on: proper nutrition, the surgical process, complications, expectations, possible side effects (good and bad), health challenges, proper nutrition, support systems abd mental health. We were given a very long list of vitamins & minerals that are necessary daily. We were educated on the importance of a daily protein intake of 70-90 grams to ensure that there are normal body functions and how to avoid the creation of new fat storages, thereby rendering the surgery ineffective. The required supplements aid in the process to maintain healthy body chemisty and normal electrolyte balances. Post surgery, I've made my health a high priority. This is indeed a delicate balancing act of scientific research, better body chemistry, tons of vitamin & mineral supplements, exercise and a healthier diet. If there is an easier way to do these things I'm on it.I am always searching for new supportive products that multi-task and aid with the many new requirements as they appearI found 2 companies selling gastric bypass patient multivitamins and supplements shortly after my surgery. I was excited by the idea of specifically engineered supplements and being able to lower the amount (18+) of vitamins & minerals I was currently onq. The cost for these specialized suppliments were overwhelming and I'd need to purchase 4-5 different supplements to cover all of my specific needs at the cost of $300+. There were few options on the market 10 years ago. The fewer to take daily the better. Due to recently diagnosed health issues, I needed to take an additional heavy daily load of prescription medications to support/supress my autoimmune diseases, chronic pain issues and severe migraine relief. I now need to take 19+ pills daily not including the 18+ vitamin & mineral supplements. Again less is more.Years later there are finally more options available at a better price point. I was excited to try this one as there were only 2 pills a day and it appeared to include most of my personalized needs as well or so I thought. I was particularly disappointed by the aftertaste of this multivitamin. It's also lacking a few essential vitamins that many patients become deficient in. It either didn't contain or have enough of the required daily intake of: potassium, magnesium, calcium and others. Therefore it leaves gastric surgery patients with a need to take several additional supplements.Improvements for a new and improved multivitamin should include the much needed higher values of vitamins & minerals such as: double the current calcium level, a minimum of 5000 mg biotin, various B6 options,B1, easily absorbed vitamin B12, increased iron, potassium, magnesium, D3 zinc etc. And please remove unnecessary fillers such as copper. An added bonus would be the addition of a protein powder supplement of 20 to 30 grams as we often struggle with getting enough of the required 70-90 grams of protein needed daily for energy and optimal body condition. Please, I beg of you, use a better quality capsule that'll reduce that nasty smell and hide that horrible aftertaste of what appears to be either tumeric or ginger.Quick shipment by supplier. I also appreciate the ability to subscribe to an auto delivery program and the lower price is an added bonus. Every penny saved is a big plus in my book. Most bariatric patients need to take several additional supplements to ensure that they're receiving the appropriate daily intake of vitamins and minerals and many post surgical bariatric patients struggle with mal-absorbtion issues following gastric surgeries. This product will cover many gastric sleeve and lap band patients but RNY bypass patients are left hanging. It's a nice multivitamin that fills the needs of many bariatric patients, just not a one stop option for all patients. Cost is a huge plus!

Most cost-effective Bariatric Multivitamin
Not the best flavoring, but the use of ginger was a great idea. Very tolerable and the cost is so much more competitive than others. I have been using for four months and have had no issues whatsoever. Nice product.

Allergic reaction
Ive been taking these vitamins since my surgery in June 2022. No problems at all until this most recent bottle. I've been breaking out in hives. I've narrowed it down to these. I just don't get it. I seen another review from a year ago stating the same thing happened to them but I was taking these vitamins at that time also and had no allergic reactions then.

Goes down easy
Pills are not too big which makes it easier to swallow! I previously had another vitamin and for some reason it never sat with me well… but I’m loving these!
