Best portico
is well built and looks great in my garden. The portico Colombb are high and the canvas is easy to open or close. Take some time to install it but instructions are clear and the result is great. Is a great value for the price., excellent.

Great for the structure. Shade area on the small side.
I love love love my convection oven. I am still getting used to it but I use it everyday from making toast to air fry crispy chicken wings. You do have to be careful with the dials if the time has not run out before your finished just leave the oven door open and the timer will continue to count down. Like the reviews online dont turn the timer dials back by hand because you could snap the dial off. That is a small price to pay for such a great appliance. I read the reviews before I decided on this appliance and it is everything and more happy with my purchase. see lessSummary: We bought the 10 x 10, white with gray canopy. The white and the gray are nice. The 10 x 10 size will not do much for shade unless you have a way of making the sun stay directly overhead while you are using it. I would not recommend paying more money for a larger size.Detail:We were really hoping this would provide some shade on our deck. But unless you are under it as the sun is directly overhead, it's not going to offer much. It will basically be a 7-8 foot shadow moving across your deck over the passing of the day. We were hoping to attach a mosquito net (made for some other pergola since this company doesn't make one) around the perimeter but I don't think that is going to work either. I'm still trying and will update with pictures if we figure something out so that maybe someone can benefit from our experimenting. I have just ordered a 10 x 12" shade canopy to try to affix to the afternoon sun side of the pergola to provide a shade wall. I will try to attach the mosquito netting (by adding grommets) I just ordered as well to see if we can at least use this structure to hide from the mosquitos. I'm not worried about the top since mosquitos fly horizontal for the most part. We've only had it up a very short time so we'll see how it does in a real wind but I think it should be okay.Other things to be aware of:This will probably arrive with some sort of damage and/or missing parts. Ours came with four V plates that the screws wouldn't thread to, so we couldn't secure the posts. We contacted the company, which has nice customer service reps but is in China so our communication took three days since they answered during the night and I answered during the day. If you order this pergola and have a problem, send them details, pictures and your Amazon order number in the first email. We then had to wait a week and a half for the parts to arrive from China. Some of the posts were a bit dented but they were perfectly functional and the company didn't replace them. I have a feeling the posts will easily ding and dent anyway. The canopy is noisy. The breeze will make it shift back and forth in its metal slides most of the time.Unless you're tall, you'll need a stool to secure and unsecure the canopy to its holding brackets when you want to extend it or slide it back and out of the way.It comes with a "roof" but rain still gets in the folded canopy, and definitely in the roof. Not a big deal for us. The kids love dumping it. It's A LOT of water.Right now I'm regretting this decision. I'll have to put more money into this in order to be able to use it. At the least, you'll probably want a sidewall to really give you the shade you'd hope to get from this. So this is basically a structure from which you can hang and/affix other things like sidewalls, triangles canopies, and maybe mosquito netting.

Easy to assemble for a middle aged man and his 12 year old son.
I love this product. I hired someone to assemble for me and he did, along with his 12 year old son so it couldn't have been too hard. .I've been using for about 4 months now with no issues whatsoever. I love the retractable roof because I'm in Oklahoma and we do get strong enough winds to just take off with it even tho it's not flimsy by any means. Because I can roll back the roof, I don't have to be afraid a gust of wind will get up under and lift it right up and blow it into someone else's yard. That happens a lot in OK to whole homes. it's bolted to the concrete patio (parts are included to do this) but it could still happen without the roll back roof. It took my handyman and his son about 3.5 hours to completely assemble and I purchased waterproof curtains to hang around 3 sides (rods not included) and I keep them tied to the posts at night as I didn't think about how much noise they make flopping in the breeze but during a sunny day it's shady all day on my patio. Most ppl hang lights on them and I too tried but I wanted the lights to go along at least 3 sides. The thing is, I had to get stick on hooks for the 2 sides (which was no biggie) because at first I wrapped the lights around the upper frame on all 3 sides and then realized I couldn't retract the roof as long as the lights were woven between the rollers on each side. Silly Wabbit. There is a row of rollers in the center too which makes it even more sturdy and the canopy easier to move and it doesn't droop in the middle as it might without them. Guys this is not a cheap, lightweight item. In fact, it's heavier and sturdier than any regular aluminum carport I've ever parked under. Anyway, I've spent many enjoyable evenings (and mornings) outside since it's been built and for Winter I intend to get an outdoor fireplace so I can spend time outside no matter the weather. I love it just like I knew I would and compared to building on an addition or enclosing the patio with walls and windows it was a fraction of the cost and you really are outside and not just behind another set of windows. So happy I bought . Great item. Sturdy. Easy to read and follow instructions, too. And it comes with everything you need to put it together including wrenches, bolts, and rubber bolt covers which I though was a nice touch. There are steel post stands with holes already in them for setting your posts and bolting them to the concrete and as I said before the concrete screws are included. I got the 10x13 too and under it I have 3 chairs, a plastic swimming pool for my dog, a table between the chairs and my gas grill. Lots of room. Highly recommend for the ease of assembly, the heavy quality of the posts and crossbars, the fact that I didn't have to dig out any tools of my own with everything included. PS: I'd have included a photo or two but its pitch black outside and raining. May later. If you're looking for something like this for your patio or deck this is the one. You'll love it and you'll love me for telling about it.

Great pergola, easy to assemble, long lasting.
We bought this pergola for our patio 2 years ago. We live in Phoenix. Things don't last here long because of the sun. We thought the fabric would be probably due to be replaced by now but it still looks great! Between my wife and I We assembled this in about 3 hrs. We don't have great tool skills. It's a great product.

Awesome pergola!
The 13 x 10 Purple Leaf pergola is a great product and a great value for the price. Assembly instructions were very well written and easy to follow. Each step was clearly defined and conceptually pretty simple. A lot of the work was assembling long pieces from the short sections that were apparently made to facilitate shipping. There were a LOT of screws that were used to join the smaller sections. However, an electric screwdriver (I.e. a torx bit in our cordless drill) made installing all those screws a lot less tedious than they would have been if we had used the hex wrenches that were provided. The pergola looks even better in real life that it does in the pictures. And the retractable awning works super well and we love the little roof to put the awning under when we are not using the patio.Oh and last but not least, Purple Leaf customer service is excellent. We they sent us assembly instructions by email after ours were destroyed by accident (don’t ask). They also answered questions and provided tips about the assembly.
