Nice, handy little machine as long as you realize its limitations
I can understand why some people don't like it. The design, the folding and the keyboard that doesn't have keys, isn't for everyone. For over $100 less I purchased a refurbished ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 which has at least as nice of a display with a high density pixel count, a noticeably faster processor and weighs quite a bit less because its just a tablet and doesn't have a keyboard. But if you will be typing and note taking, the 'traditional academic thing,' then you will most likely prefer this over any tablet. I'm using it for 'working lunches' where I'm making sketches of ideas and typing away at notes and it wonderful for that. I'm a touch typist and I know the keyboard doesn't have actual keys so I'm not typing anywhere near as fast as I could but it really is quite usable nevertheless. Lighter and less bulky than even an ultra light laptop let alone a more traditional "small" laptop (say with a 13" or 14" screen).Even though it has a less powerful CPU and GPU than those laptops mentioned it works fine and is responsive enough even with multiple browser tabs and a few other apps running. Android is just a much load on the processor compared to Windows 10. I doubt that the Windows variant of the Yoga Book is nearly as usable. I have a Windows 10 2-in-1 that I use and I'll say that Windows 10 finally has a usable tablet mode but it isn't as nice to use as Android. So between the higher processor demands of Windows 10, the less user friendly tablet mode and the tendency because it is a Windows machine that you'll want to run more processor intensive tasks where you'll notice that it only has 4G of memory and a small SSD I don't think too many people will like the Windows version. But as long as you understand what this can and cannot do its a great little machine.

some more benign (nothing requiring a bigger processor) games which I have found most to work fine, general office suite tools for android including word ...
It was between 4 and 5 stars...but for what I need it for, it is 5. If you want gaming and full office suite and business capabilities, get a computer. This is a tablet...I got Android version (there is Windows version, but slower I read) and I use this for Internet surfing, watch videos and MOVIES!, Pinterest, e-mail, Facebook, some more benign (nothing requiring a bigger processor) games which I have found most to work fine, general office suite tools for android including word processing and spreadsheet apps...and I LOVE the drawing capability!! You can not only use their hard board and stylus for drawing on, but also regular paper and insert ink refills into their pen and draw. And you can replace the ink pen with regular (specific size of course) pen refills. This is soooo cool. I can take all of my drawings that were done on the road and automatically saved as a digital drawing, and then create jpeg, load to my computer and use with my crafting tools, or other art apps...or just edit and print. Again....if you want a full computer, get a regular laptop. The digital keyboard, I am actually getting used to or buy a mobile keyboard...and for the price now of under $300, you CAN'T BEAT IT!!! Had a little scare when it all of a sudden switched to another language, but realized you have to turn off the other possible languages...when you swipe the space bar, it can change languages. I HOPE LENOVO comes out with next generation of this...but you will probably pay more, but it would be worth it to me. Love this! And so LIGHT WEIGHT and THIN!!! Not many ports though, but bluetooth. WIFI and 4G and one nano SIM and a port for audio jack. Sound isn't bad at all for a small tablet...I hooked up mini speakers (with the right size jack) and worked great! Also, I bought gold, and I see a small scratch on it now (my doing), but so you know, black might be better if that bothers you. 64 GB storage...good. 1200X1920 res on 10" screen - like it. We now have 3 Lenovo's and have had wonderful customer service with them from the start. I also have a Lenovo ThinkPad Twist and LOVE IT to pieces!!! My husband has a Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro with Projector and loves it. Oh, and if your screen goes black when you're loading all of your initial stuff/apps, let it do it's thing....don't panick and start hitting buttons...let it do it's thing...may just take longer. I'm sure there are things Lenovo can do better with this in a new generation, but it's pretty darn good to me. The keyboard was my hesitation, but glad I bought this.

How to Factory Reset.
Well, it would be a much higher rating except that the machine arrived completely unusable. It kept rebooting, crashing. I was able to fix the machine by getting into the Android system reset menu. I held down power and volume up and reset the machine to factory settings. After which, the machine then proceeded to download updates one at a time and at different intervals a total of 7 updates. I should hope that Lenovo would test their machines prior to leaving the factory. After that anxiety provoking situation, it was a wonderful sleek and thin high performance android tablet. Terribly useful.
