Not for little hands.
It is a great thermo but it is not for little hands as I was hoping. I think it’s a little over 3” diameter, maybe 3.5”. My son will have trouble opening it but other than that I think it’s good.

Minimize plastic with this container
First of all, the lid is plastic. I wish it was metal, but that's the only thing I do not like about this container. It's easy to clean, even if you might need to take the gasket out sometimes. (I haven't bothered yet.) It is just right for a single serving of whatever you want to take someplace. I am bringing salad with dressing and it doesn't leak as long as you don't overfill it to the point that the lid can't screw down entirely.

Small but outstanding insulation value!
I use this as a perfect size insulated mug that seals tight and fits into my lunch bag for work (at Amazon)
