Umbra Otto Foaming Automatic Soap and Sanitizer Dispenser, Nickel

We have 2 of these that we bought in 2020. They work great as long as you follow the instructions regarding the soap mixture. I gave it a 5 star rating bc we ordered a third one that didn't work but was immediately replaced. The replacement worked. We use one in the kitchen with dish soap and one in the bath with a milder hand soap. The third is for a utility sink. Creates a nice foam. Note: You cannot use ready- made foaming soap in this dispenser.

We’ve had the soap dispenser for just over 2 years. A month or two ago it started to pump out less soap. We thought it was the batteries but upon replacing them it continued to get worse to the point of no soap.Out of curiosity and hope of not creating more waste, I opened it up and none of the lines were clogged. From the best I can tell, the motor is dying, otherwise something in the electronics board failed. Either way, it’s dead and ewaste.

The soap dispenser works pretty well. Uses AAA batteries which is fairly convenient. It's pretty easy to refill. It's kind of tall and the reservoir is a little small for the size of it. The base can slip around especially if it's not perfectly flat. Overall I'm happy with it, but it could be improved.

I hope it can last longer than 2 years, because most of the cheap brand only last a little more than a year.This work very well so far, it will be 2 months in another week, and the first set of batteries are still running, I have an elder and kids at home and they wash hands all day long, so I would say the battery should last for 6 months for normal home.

We were so excited for this soap dispenser but it broke after a little over a month. It just stopped dispensing foaming soap altogether. Since it's touchless we didn't actually handle the physical unit much so makes me think the quality is just low. Disappointed as I've previously liked the Umbra brand.

We moved into a house with a tall bowl for a sink. This dispenser is tall enough to be higher than the edge of the bowl (it’s a littler I’ve 9” tall). It looks nice and has worked well so far — about 2 months.

It isn't easy to find automatic-eye dispensers for foaming soap. This one works, and also looks sharp on the bathroom counter. Other reviews mention clogging, but we just clean the nozzle with a cotton swab maybe once a month, which instantly clears the buildup. After 6 months, we still love it!

This product was used and did not work. It had return shipping stickers on the bottom of the box. There was even old soap residue on it. I ending up fixing it myself; since they are getting increasingly hard to find.
