Q: Why is this $8 when you can get it at the dollar store?

My dollar store is 40 miles away and I drove all the way over there and they said they didn't have any more. So I called the other one that was 65 miles away and asked if they delivered and they said no. So I called a different store. This was a regular store, they said they had the car I wanted and they can deliver to my post office for $1.00 plus $12 shipping and handling and it will be here in 10 - 17 working days so I said NO! Then I bought it on Amazon and it will be here tomorrow (1 day), :)
