Used for 1 year and has Stripped gears
We used it for one years and it began to grind, so we put it in storage. Decided to find out what was wrong and sent it back to Sailology and they said it had stripped gears. Not rugged enough for a larger sailboat and so I don't recommend it. Ended up costing $169 to get it repaired so I could sell it.

THE GEARBOX IS POT METAL CRAP. IF YOU HIT IT WITH A LOAD, NOT HARD ENOUGH TO PULL FROM YOUR HANDS...
THE GEARBOX FAILED UNDER A LOAD.. NOW I GET TO PAY $204 (INCLUDING SHIPPING) TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THIS IS SOME CHINESE CRAP.
