Response time is amazing 1 M/S bestfor gaming5. Colors are best, contrast is good6. Adjustable, tilt, up down, wall mountfeature available7. Beast of a Monitor
I got the monitor recently for the price of 8,800 (including a 10% discount on the OneCard) during the Dussheera Great Indian Festival Sale.Initial Reviews - For the price, this monitor is a beast.Ports - Power Port, HDMI, USB Type C, Display PortScreen - Full HDRefresh Rate : 75HzMade in ChinaI had been searching for a good budget friednly monitor for quite some time when I stumbled upon this particular model by Acer. I wanted a good monitor for mostly office purpose which includes - mails, calls, coding, office apps, etc. This monitor perfects fits if those are your requirements as well. The option to tilt, pivot, heigh adjustment is extremly helpful. The vertical mode helps while I need to code while horizontal can be used for rest everthing else.No other monitor from any brand whether a local or a global brand provdies a Type C, Slim, Full HD monitor at this price point. For this price the monitor is exceptional in terms of price and the value it providesFew things to keep in mind -1. The power cord uses a 15A plug and not a regular 5A plus point. A convertor or adaptor (can be found for ₹150-170) will do the job if you have a 5A plug point.2. The first time I connected my laptop to the monitor the text seemed fuzzy and a bit washed out. I had to put extra effort to read texts on the screen. The solution was a bit painful but it lies in the screen adjustment settings. Here are the settings I am using (feel free to use them if it helps)-PictureBrightness : 40Contrast : 45Black Boost : 3Blue light : OffACM : OffSuper Sharpness : Off (Text were too sharp with this one ON)ColorGamma : 2.2Color Temp : NormalRest everthing else is default settings.Cons:1. Initial blurry screen - was fixed with the above settings2. 15A Plug - fixed with an adapter3. There are 2 speakers - but these are just for namesake. Please don't excpect any output from them. Even at 100 the sound is rarely audible.Pros:1. Excellent Value for Money2. Good Viewning Angles3. Height Adjustment4. Pivot Screen (90degrees) for vertical monitor system - Can be rotated to both left or right side which means you don't have to worry about which side your have the Type C or HDMI port in your laptop.5. Power Cord is separate and Screenshare can be done via - HDMI, Display or Type C6. Good Screen Quality (with above mentioned settings)Will be updating this review after using it a bit more. Please note - This is NOT a gaming monitor. If you have gaming requirements please skip this monitor.

Good product from ACER
This is my 1st product from Acer. So much satisfied after a couple of weeks usage. My positives are1) Height adjustments2) Supports HDR103) Supports 10Bit(Bit depth) via DisplayPort connectivity4) Solid & Sturdy base plate5) Matte display with clear viewing angleMy only cons is it comes with 16A plug for power input. This product input current is just 1.2 - 1.6A so 6A plug is enough.

Delivered without complete parts
The screws required to connect the monitor to the stand were missing in the order, also the hdmi cable was missing in the order. Asked the customer support to just deliver this, to which they said they dont have an option like that, so now have to return the product and also wait for 15 working days to get my money back

Honest review
I have used the monitor for over a month before writing the review. In my opinion, If you want an ultrawide monitor you should choose:- 34" model over the 29" model.- QHD (3440 x 1440) model over the FHD (2560 x 1080) model.- Flat screen over the Curved screen model.(The above points makes Acer CB342CK 34 one of the most cost effective options available on the market.)And I mentioning other pros here.- I got a unit manufactured in 2024 (3 months before the order date) or atleast the sticker says that.- The packing and delivery was good and in time.- Good color reproduction.- It comes with a nice stand with turn, tilt and height adjust options. By turn I mean, it comes with a swiveling base, you cannot rotate the screen to portrait mode. You can choose the required position and leave it there. I would not recommend moving it around too much because of the cables. The downsides are:- It comes with a 16A c13 power cable which is not supported by most of the power supplies and UPS so you will have to buy a 6A c13 power cable or a 6A to 16A converter socket for the monitor.- Display Port cable not provided with the monitor, you will need a good quality Display Port cable to get the full resolution and a good quality display port cable will cost you anywhere between 600 - 1200 Rupees. I got cheap ones first and it did not work for me.- The built in speakers are terrible, not even good for notification sounds in my opinion, you should get a 40W - 60W speaker if you are going to watch OTT, YouTube videos on it.- You will notice significant backlight bleed on darker screens (for example when the computer is booting up etc.). It does not bother me much as we do not do much work during that time.- Using the buttons on the monitor to adjust the settings and volume is very inconvenient. They should have included a remote with volume control and input select options. I know none of the monitors comes with a remote but I thought about mentioning it anyway.Additional costs to consider as you will probably have to buy following items to get the best performance out of the monitor.- c13 6a power cable or a 6A to 16A converter socket for the monitor.- Good Quality / Branded Display Port cable.- Good speakers with an output of 40W or above.:-)
