I purchased three of these shelves about a year ago. I've been working on decluttering and organizing my house. I wanted something for the living room that could contain all the things and look like it was there on purpose. These shelves were that something! The drawers on the bottom are big enough to actually hold stuff- files, coloring books, markers, printer paper- and look pretty at the same time! A year in and they are still rocking it. They still open and close well, nothing is sagging or warping, and the hardware is still solid.The shelves themselves manage to hold the rest of the stuff and again, look good doing it. Perfect hight for my vaulted ceilings. Deep enough to hold the printer, all our board games, and our digital calendar frame. The organization this adds has been a game changer. Spacing between shelves is adjustable when you put it together, which was needed to fit the printer. Putting the whole works together was not complicated. The instructions were easy to follow and all parts were clearly marked. Once put together, these are really sturdy. The finish is also holding up nicely- no significant scratches or dings- even though there's six people in our family plus pets.Very pleased with this purchase!

Sturdy! Easy to put together, I like the option for the placement of the two center shelves don’t like the holes left no button like covers. Could use more options as well for the shelf placement choices. Looks good from the back, can be used as room divider lining up a few up?I would recommend this book case with file drawer! Now seeing if I can whittle my office stuff to just this one unit.

This was easy to assemble, even being 70 years old and 100 pounds. The pieces were well marked and everything was pre-drilled, so it would be difficult to make a mistake putting it together. Very sturdy and well made at a terrific price.My one criticism is that the color of the bookcase isn't even close to the photos shown. I was looking for a blend of lighter wood with the dark, helping me mesh this bookcase and desk to fit my decor. Had it not been for the color issue, I would have given it five stars. What I got is a very dark brown wood with black streaks. It's nice, but not what is shown on in the photos, so not what I was expecting.Nice furniture which seems like it will last, at a great price. Definitely recommend!

Love these shelves, very easy to assemble, and they are very solid. I bought two to double my storage space. For assembly I would recommend getting an electric screwdriver or your hand will be very tired doing this manually. I also loved that the shelves were adjustable with a few placement options, my printer fit perfectly. I love that the feet are adjustable which helps with leveling. The bottom drawer is a bit sticky, requires you to pull pretty hard to open but other than that very happy with these!

Easy to assemble, just takes time. Well designed and all parts and predrilled holes line up. Overall as described.

I ordered 2 of these and put them side by side. They look good and are sturdy. The drawers are good, but the slides are inexpensive. Pictures on Amazon match well to final product. I do like that it has some storage in the drawers.Assembly was a bit more of a chore than I expected. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, but there were a lot steps. You definitely want to use a drill or electric screwdriver or you will wear out your wrist. Some of the shelf screws are hex wrench to tighten, so I used a hex bit in my drill for those, too.There are adjustable feet on the bottom corners. My floor was unlevel and it took a bit of adjustment to get the two bookshelves aligned so one didn’t lean away from the other or lean different front to back. If you only buy one, that shouldn’t be much of a worry.
