No, this jacket does not pack very small, it takes up a lot of space as I was surprised I could not pack it into a small tight ball. This jacket is very functional and a great buy for the cost it’s warm well made great quality for the price. It just can’t pack small

It runs true to size. I don’t have the Patagonia better sweater.
