Thank you, Ubiquiti, for a great inline power converter!
Quick Report: Outstanding product!Details: Previously I used a Ubiquiti inline adapter to connect my Cisco POE switch to the older Unifi AP. When I upgraded to the Unifi AP-AC, the adapter failed, and I realized it only supported 100Mb speeds. At the time, nothing else existed so I used the wall powered injector to power the AP. Worked ok, but didn't have the clean look I want in my home network. Fast forward a year, and I bumped into this little gem!!! Designed for Gigabit speeds and works great! No more unsightly injectors! It lives in the ceiling and works its magic!Feels solid and well built. AP fired right up. I did install it close to the AP (as opposed to closer to the rack/switch).

Works As Advertised
For what it is, it does the job and does it well. I haven't had any issues with it coming from a Cisco PoE switch either. I have two of them for my home and both AP's I have use these and they work well.

simple, works
used this to power an older Unifi AP from a normal 48V PoE switch. worked fine and lasted several years with no hiccups. fortunately UBNT has moved most of their current APs to standard 48V compatibility.i imagine this thing is just a step down transformer, so might be a fun project to breadboard. 👍

Perfect adapter for when your POE switch is not correctly compatible and all you have to do is plug in and let it do the rest
Work like a charm and are as easy as plug and play* Purchased two of these and was able to eliminate two power supplies to my access points* Simply unplugged the power block adapter and plugged in the INS-3AF-I-G* In the photos you can see where I had the two power blocks mounted and now have these plugged strait into my POE switch* Took a couple of minutes once I plugged them in for them to reboot but have had no issue since.

It does the job.
Had to purchase this to get my POE ports to work on my 8-port UBNT switch. It works, but ridiculous that I had to purchase this.

These work great to convert your 802
These work great to convert your 802.11af POE switch to passive 24V for Ubiquiti access points and cameras that require it. I use it with the small UniFi Switch 8 60W, as those ports are POE on or ff and not configurable for 24V. Plug and play. My AP's turned on and were ready after boot up just as you would expect.

Small size , perfect fit
Used it with a Cisco 3750 switch which has POE ports (48 Volts) and a Ubiquiti Nano bridge (24 Volts). The small size of the adapter allows it to blend easily in the cable rack without interfering with anything and I no longer need the power brick which in turn freed up an AC outlet.

Works as expected.
It's a little but expensive for essentially a voltage divider, but it work very well on my ubiquiti APs and NANOs.
