A quality product that keeps its promises.
The criteria for evaluating a purchase from Amazon is always an utmost standard of integrity. This begins with the seller truth-in-telling, the listing being a thorough and accurate representation of what is received and the manufacturing of the product meeting or exceeding good quality expectations. Interpreting this by assigning "stars" can be misleading. So I either recommend a product or I don't. The item I receive must be protectively shipped arriving in brand new condition, no damages or items being prior returns resold. The manufacturer's packaging should be substantial for handling and storing while intelligently presenting the item in full color photos with dialog expressing the features and benefits and overview of use to guide fair use expectations. Not just content thrown in non-descript generic bags or boxes. The product design should be intuitively clear regarding "how-to" and contain enough English-correct instructions to promise ease of use with all its features. We need to be happy we bought it, and not care whose responsibility it is for whatever failure destroys our shopping experience. I'm not in the mood to meter forgiveness because it was not the seller, it was Amazon, or not Amazon it was the manufacturer, or not the manufacturer it was delivery services. I don't want to manage and decipher the experience, I just want to enjoy it. It is a tall-order and why I only shop Amazon, because they promise to uphold this high-bar of customer satisfaction. This item hits this high mark. I can absolutely recommend it.

Solid compression board
As the description says, this is a compression board, not a backboard. I got this to fill in a gap in my EMS kit. While I am no longer an active EMT, I want to be prepared in case I need to perform compressions on a soft/uneven surface. The build and design are similar to the board we carried on the fire truck, though I don’t much care for the shape/placement of the head/neck cutout. If you care for someone bed-bound, or if you have reason to be cpr/first aid certified, this is small and well built enough to be worth keeping with your kit.

Rated a 5, but I never recieved it
This is my weirdest review, because USPS LOST this in the mail and Amazon is cancelling the order... but I need to clear this off of my review que and don't want to downgrade an excellent product (I have one at work, and wanted one for my own medical kit). So I'm basing this review off the one I have access to.This board is rock solid, and provides an excellent support for CPR. It's smaller size makes it easy to store, and for 1 person to manipulate it into place. It has just enough texture to prevent it from slipping, but not so much that you have to fight it when placing it.Again, USPS lost the one I ordered, so I'm going to have to order another, and in my opinion, if you ever need this, it's completely worth it.

Hopefully you never need this but if you do this one looks up to the job
It's weird to review a potentially life-saving device but if you are reading this you deserve to know that this one will work. It can make a huge difference to have a steady surface to do life saving techniques on. Everyone should have one of these in their car and also know how to use it. Make sure you get first aid certified at least once in your life. This is super thick durable plastic and very lightweight. Even if you don't know how to give CPR someone else might and they might benefit from having the proper tools for it. do some good, keep one of these around

Great addition to my jump bag
This is great to live in the trunk of my car with my jump bag. As an EMT, this makes life easier to do cpr if you can't get someone on the floor or a hard surface. You slide it under a person on a bed and it gives you the good hard surface you need. I haven't had the chance to try it in the emergency sense yet (which is a good thing!) but this will be great when that time comes. The board is extremely lightweight but it's made very well and solid. Average price for these, so it's definitely worth it. Would absolutely recommend!

Very well made Cardiac Board
The CPR board is designed to be slid under a person who is lying on a bed or other soft surface, and in distress requiring CPR. The board creates a hard surface that maximizes the effectiveness of chest compression during CPR.This board is made with cutouts to carry and place it into position, and the slope at the top of the board places the head at the proper angle for CPR.As a caretaker for my parents who are 91, and 93, I keep this board in the closet of their bedroom so I can get to it quickly if there is an emergency. I highly recommend this board to anyone that shares their home with elderly, or disabled individuals.

Excellent half length CPR backboard
We're using this CPR backboard at the FD that I work with and its been really great to have on hand. There's often situations where a full length backboard isn't optimal, so this shorty has been extremely useful to keep around, especially since it takes up so little space. But it effectively provides the required stable surface that we need to perform CPR on a patient when we arrive at the scene. Great quality and performance - recommended.

Well made, has needed attributes, and is durable
This CPR backboard is fantastic. It is well-made, durable, and has features that will really help. First, it has a cut out for the person‘a neck. It has handles on the bottom and on the sides, which will be helpful when carrying it and when positioning it. It is going to be really helpful if you have to perform CPR on someone who is on a soft bed or sofa. Especially if you’re in a small space and you cannot move them to the floor. This is a fantastic tool I recommend it.
