LOVE THEM!
These brackets have made this roofing job SO MUCH EASIER! We bought the 10 inch set, so we had to buy a 2x10x8 plywood from our local store, and wow what a difference they made!

Simple, Sturdy, Works great
Simple, yet functional design. When installed properly, these are very sturdy. Nice heavy guage steel.. not flimsy at all.

They do what roof jacks do.
These are really tight and difficult to use when new. I'm sure they'll loosen up considerably in continued use, but I'm installing them permanently so I only had to fiddle with them once. These do not have any holes in the treads to secure a plank, so I had to drill them out.I'll never have to creep along a ridgeline in the snow again.

Good item
Excellent product, but read the description before you buy. I thought I was buying a pair, but when it arrived, I found out it was just a single unit. On the job we use these in pairs. I don't like deceptive advertising, and I should have read the description closer. I have shopped around and found out that the price for the single unit the seller offers is a little on the high side. I've found these at a cheaper price at hardware, and roofing supply stores. In fact the local grange sells the same quality item for less, so shop around. By the way these are well made, sturdy, and safe. They are not cheaply made. My only issue is the price, and quantity.
