I bought two of these storage boxes, and quickly bought two more. In fact, I may order more before long.I had a large collection of knitting needles stored in a disorganized mess, in a large storage box. I wanted to sort the needles into straight, double points and circular needles. I also wanted to store the needles under my couch, so the storage containers could be no more than 6 inches high. I spent over an hour on Amazon, looking for the right boxes. I found these and ordered them.They perfectly meet my needs. The containers are strong and sturdy and the locking clips are easy to open and close. I sorted out my knitting needles, and now quickly find the ones I need.I started to sort out my office supplies and plan to buy more of these boxes. I can stack the boxes on top of each other to make more efficient use of my storage space.In conclusion, these boxes are wonderful. They are a great way to store various items. I wish I could give them a 5+ star rating.

I ordered two sets of six for organizing onliine sales items. They are the perfect size, but this time three of them came without handles. Not great quality control on part of manuafacturer that any handles were missing. I had discarded all packaging before I noticed, so if you order them check that all have handles!! Still usable, but handles are how they stay closed. Five stars with handles!

Out of the 8 boxes I received, only one was broken. My theory is the northeast winter cold makes the plastic more brittle. I may order more in the summer to see if it makes any difference. I was issued a refund after the seller tried to send me a replacement box that ended up being the wrong style.I love this “clip box” storage system by Sterilite because they are generally durable. (I had a Sterilite box with a snap/clip lid for over a decade and multiple moves.) The boxes of all sizes, S, M, L, and Deep, are easily stackable. The lids are interchangeable for certain sizes. These medium clip boxes share a lid size with the smalls. They make sorting toys, Legos, tools, quilting fabrics so easy and accessible. I look forward to buying more.I chose these over others because of my experience with this brand. And I knew it was a “system” that would work no matter which piece I bought. That said, it is plastic. Each time I open a box with my face close to it I get a waft of plastic smell. I’ll update when this goes away.Also of note, these M boxes fit well on my Kallax IKEA shelves. Two M boxes fit sideways on top of one L or Deep box.

I love these storage containers. I use them for everything. I recently organized the children’s LEGO’s using them and they really made finding pieces so much easier. They’re sturdy and the perfect size to fit in many storage shelves. The ONLY downside to these containers and many Sterilite containers is the inside of the lid has these plastic pieces attached to them meaning you can only fill 3/4 of container. The plastic pieces prevent you from filling it to the top and closing it properly. Nonetheless, they were a great option for me because they are see through and stackable.
