My 96 year old mother-in-law wears these sleeveless nylon gowns winter and summer in Texas. Never will wear anything else. Has worn them for the 40 plus years that I have know her. Although she has a history of preferring the washed out, pale pastel pinks, blues and lavenders, if I'm the "gifter", she is going to get one in a beautiful color. This one is definitely a gorgeous, deep jewel tone. Quality is good, too. And believe me, I have had to search high and low for vendors of these old school nylon tricot knee length gowns, and some are pretty cheesy! The almost colorless, pale pastels are disappearing from her closet one by one, and colors like this are appearing in their place. Live it up! Wear a gorgeous color. You're only 96 once, right? Will definitely buy this brand again.
